About this deal
Did you know that Ginger nuts contain about one tenth of your recommended daily allowance of iron? Neither did we but we're pretty happy to hear our favourite old-school biscuit is secretly good for us. Slight disclaimer that you have to make these healthy biscuits yourself – but that just adds to how virtuous you'll feel when you're enjoying a warm chocolate cookie knowing it's only 96 calories and a great source of protein and fibre.
All of the flavour and fibre with none of the preservatives, colourings or flavourings. These biscuits definitely feel like a healthy option, but the dense nutty flavour is delicious and they really fill you up mid-afternoon.
Granted these aren't the most satisfying of biscuits out there – but if you're looking for a healthy biscuit they are one of the lowest calorie offerings on the market with 30% less fat than an ordinary Rich Tea at just 36 calories each. Dunk them in your cuppa and you'll be none the wiser. A thinner version of the nation's favourite biscuit. These contain just 31 calories so you can have two and you've still eaten less calories than one normal Digestive. We can't vouch for how well they dunk, though...
