Makita have developed the DMR301 to include both Bluetooth and Digital DAB radio and be powered by their 12v and 18v batteries.

The fast digital tuner lets you tune in to anything you want to listen to, from the latest charts, classical, musicals to news, sports – whatever you can pick up. Makita will fix and service any Makita Powertool or accessory, even those models that may now be discontinued or obsolete. DAB+ is also a much greener technology because the overall transmission power required is far lower. Equipped with class 2 Bluetooth connectivity a mobile device is wirelessly connected to play your choice of music. When the product is plugged into the mains via the included AC adapter your DMR301 radio will then charge your 12v / 18v batteries - a first for any Makita Radio.
