Each and every Member must be of legal drinking age in its country of residence to be allowed to use the Service. If no such law exists in a Member’s country of residence, the Member has to be over 21 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, and by creating an account you represent, warrant and confirm that you are of legal age. Our Service is an online platform which provides Members with information (e.g. bottle facts, market-indices, market values and prices) on (mostly) whisky and allows Members to add information to the platform. Nose: Bright green apple, honeydew and sauvignon blanc grapes with the slightest ethanol burn peeking through. On the nose: gorgeously honeyed, with exceptionally strong floral notes. Very nice indeed, and very close to the Wemyss Malts single cask I tried a little while ago. So yet again, old-fashioned roses – and intensely so, almost to the point of it being a wax candle interpretation of that scent. Beeswax table polish. Cider – mead, perhaps. Final Thoughts: A more thoughtful, weighty dram than the 12 year. The additional sherry casking comes through, but isn’t overbearing and works wonderfully with the fruity spirit, adding a richness and level of depth not present in the 12 year. While the bottlings seem to have a very different purpose in life, they are at once unique and complimentary. We are doing the hair and the counter hair, also because if you consider that the cost is about 95-100 euros for 1 liter of whiskey, you can’t complain.
