About this deal

in the very beginning of the book, oak and a friend of his—whose name i forgot—were complaining that quinn was captain. He's an open gay (although sometimes it didn't appear like it) he's one of the main keys I the mayor plot twist. Saying he—a straight guy—could suck dick better than someone like me, who’s been doing it for years?

And yes, I’m nitpicking, because once you start to notice a crack in the wall, you keep staring at it, even if the narrators did a really good job keeping me entertained. yeah, quinn would pretty much throw a punch for funsies, but oak thought himself higher than the rest of the world. This story was just everything it was perfectly casted in audio when Liam DiCosimo was emotional , so I felt it! After all the animosity they had for each other, it was just beautiful to read about their vulnerable moments.

Their emotional evolution, from their tumultuous beginnings to the tender love they share, is a captivating narrative thread that resonates profoundly with readers. e interesting plotines too, not all involving hockey, but maybe yes, how he has to carry on a family’s legacy from over 15 years.

One example of things I have great difficulties thinking a guy would do: tattooing his astrological sign. The PLOT, the author really got me here at the beginning, the first plot twist is quite intense and interesting involving drugs and an official sport drugs test, we get to see some other plotlines with Quinn family’s dinamic and between him and his teammates too. Iced Out tells the story of rival ice hockey players, Oakley Reed and Quinton De Haas as they're forced to play on the same team.Tensions are high with this constant losing streak they have going on and when Quinton's career in hockey is put on the line, he becomes almost unbearable, and Oakley is getting sick of it. Upon my initial reading of Iced Out a year ago, it immediately captured my interest and, as evidenced by my original review, I found great enjoyment in it with only a minor quibble. Since this has been hanging untouched on my kindle for over a month, I think it’s time to admit defeat. This makes it less appealing to the reader, and sure the author tells us why they "hate" each other, but the supposed "hate" felt more like a dislike, and honestly, "the beef" was kind of dumb. Fries my nervous system, short circuiting my brain enough to make our rivalry seem like a thing of the past.
