The story's pretty great and expansive as a slice-of-life. If you're into political dealings, you can examine the relationships between the nobles present in the story. If you're into leveling and growing stronger, while there is less of a focus on doing so, its still everpresent in the story. If you're into research and development of slimes, this is basically the godsent book for thee. Its light hearted and comedic, which makes the serious moments a bit more chilling. With help from his slimes, Ryoma not only cleans Miya's house, but make some repairs on it, much to her joy, and she increases his reward out of gratitude. In his next job, Ryoma is tasked to clean the communal toilets, amid suspicions the toilets are not being properly maintained due to embezzlement perpetrated by the local authorities. While Reinhart investigates the matter, Ryoma discovers the toilets are contaminated with miasma. Upon knowing of this, the Jamil family attempts to dissuade Ryoma from continuing the task, but he convinces them he is the most suited for it. The guild then sends Miya along with some other adventurers to keep the population away from the toilets until Ryoma completes the cleaning. Ryoma arrives at the city of Lenaf and meets the merchant Pioro Saionji, who had made most of the necessary arrangements for Ryoma to open his shop by the Guildmaster's request, and his daughter Miyabi. However, he learns there are few jobs for E Rank adventurers like him because of a group of smash boars, which are powerful monsters who appeared nearby, and remembers this is one of the species the gods recommended him to hunt down to improve his combat experience. While gathering herbs to attend a request, Ryoma receives another letter from Eliaria, but his reading is interrupted when he spots a pair of adventurers running in fear from a smash boar.

The mc himself is a very interesting character, the way the manga handles him feels as if he is real and allows the reader to connect to him more then the average mc. While op, the mc's sole interest is to enjoy the new world, while studying slimes of course. He himself has had a bad past, something that strikes me as strangley unique in mangas, while it is not a rare situation for the mc to be in, it often doesn't affect their interactions or thoughts towards others. Our mc here is influenced by his past both emotionally and mentally. His personality is lovely, a complete change from your typical badass mc (even though they are amazing too), honestly he is a cinammon roll from the very start. chapters of the Rebooted version, which is the recommended version since it cuts down on irrevelancy)One month after beginning her studies at the Imperial Academy, Eliaria still has not made any friends at all due to her social status being much higher than her peers for being a duke's daughter, until she meets Michelle Wildan, a count's daughter who studies magic circles and Miyabi, who approaches her by Ryoma's suggestion. The three become friends and invite two other students for their study group: Riela Clifford, a baron's daughter who is also an aspiring knight and Kanan Schuzer, a craftsman's daughter. During a field activity, Eliaria's group make use of their individual talents to help other students with difficulties on their tasks and resolve conflicts between them. Though simple in concept, it continues to be entertaining throughout the chapters. It's basically just a man is reborn as a child and meets people while trying to enjoy life, HOWEVER, from this point on it becomes different than the 'typical' isekai manga. While, theoretically the mc is op, the manga handles it well instead of being your typical uninteresting 'mc can kill everything'. This manga is your typical Isekai manga, a man died and was 'reborn' into a world full of magic. Despite this, the manga distinguishes itself from typical in many different ways.
