About this deal

Heavier items (particularly mirrors) understandably require a little extra support and usually come with strap hangers attached to each side on the back. There is approximately 3/4" adjustment capacity on a J-Hook, so installation of the hooks on the wall need not be perfectly level. The thick steel wire loop is shaped so that it has a very high resistance to opening under load with the strap folded through it. The Adjustable J-Hook is a heavy-duty two-part picture hook that permits height/level adjustments without having to remove the item hung on it from the wall.

Heavy duty J Hooks for mirrors can be used one per mirror or can be doubled up and spaced apart on extra large, heavy mirrors for additional strength. Personalised advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of information under California and other state privacy laws, and you may have a right to opt out. Use a small hammer and the four J-Hook nails provided to attach the J-Hooks to the wall at your wall marks and hang the frame on the hooks.Pack contains:Heavy Duty safety hook x 2Screws and wall plugs x 2Hanger, adjustable, with screws x 2Spacer pads.

If you’d like to file an allegation of infringement, you’ll need to follow the process described in our Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy. Finally, double check that no electric cables or pipes are in line with where you want to drive your nail in. This will affect the types of hooks you'll need and will determine whether it's strong enough to support your mirror or picture. Some products may be delivered straight to your door from one of our suppliers and these products will be labelled within the product description.Use the Brass Bezel (sold separately), which fixes to the wall and use either Flat Plates or Bridge Plates to fix to the frame. Screw to a wall for cord, wire or chain fitting, or use directly with strap hangers or heavy-duty hangers. Make sure that the hangers are positioned on the frame an equal distance down from the frame's top edge and also far enough down to allow the frame to hide the J-Hooks when the picture is hung on the wall. Step 2: Next measure how long the distance is between the centre of the strap hangers and the bottom of the frame. Step 2: As your pencil point on the wall indicates where the top of the mirror is and not where the hook should go, turn your mirror over and hold the cord taught, measuring down from the top to locate your ideal hook location.

They are not only much stronger than the double headed screws often used, but the cords on the back of artworks locate on the hangers much more easily and securely.Mirrors and pictures come in all shapes and sizes but a general rule is to have the centre at eye-level, which is roughly around 150cm above the ground (if you're hanging a full-length mirror, this rule won't apply). Step 1: Measure the middle point of the top of the mirror or picture and hold the picture up at the wall at the position where you'd like it to hang. Step 3: Take this distance and mark down from your original wall mark to represent the exact position of where the base of the hook should go.
