About this deal
The nose clips into the body of the speeder, and then plates and tiles are laid over it, more or less permanently affixing it. I may be miss remembering something but didn't lego just say c3po's legs weren't going to get that much better than the trash compactor one? Anxiety for this set is already in the red, causing me to wonder if I should pick it up because of that single critical area. While the nougat color at first struck me as a bit too vibrant, after looking at the source material a bit, it’s really the closest color in the LEGO palette to the film’s prop.
75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder [Review] LEGO Star Wars UCS 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder [Review]
The new UCS version is considerably larger with 1,890 pieces and measuring nearly 20 inches long (50cm). The one in the pictures won't even be used in THIS set, there's no way it's this clear and scratch-free. The double sided print really sets it apart and make the speeder come to life as it cruises across the sand. I’ve never bought a UCS set new before, this may be my first, although I’ll probably wait for some sort of discount. The display stand is even simpler than that of many other UCS sets, as the landspeeder is displayed sitting flat rather than tilted at an angle like 75275 A-wing Starfighter.Despite being an 18+ set, the instruction book remains simple and concise, never instructing you to place too many pieces in one go.

Like all recent UCS sets, the landspeeder comes with a few relevant minifigures to display on the stand. The first engine to build is the left, and it’s the one that makes this Luke’s landspeeder rather than a generic X-34, as it’s missing most of its exterior paneling.Nearly all of the rest of the stickers add some dark red striping to various bits of the landspeeder.
