About this deal

Unfortunately, this radio is quite difficult to use compared to most other portable DAB radios. In particular, setting alarms and saving presets can be difficult, even after reading the user manual. It can be quite frustrating trying to use this radio’s features as the controls aren’t very intuitive. The sound quality is acceptable for a radio in this price range, but it doesn’t have much bass and hence sounds a bit tinny. It’s not a bad radio for listening to speech stations, but the tone quality isn’t great for listening to music. The volume is also quite limited, so it’s not a good choice for using in noisy places.

The LOGIK L55DAB15 has a nice compact design with a wood-effect finish. This radio is quite small (24.6 cm wide) and is easy to carry around, and you can power it with 4 AA batteries or the mains lead provided. As with most portable digital radios, the battery life is quite poor, so you will probably want to keep it plugged into the mains most of the time. DAB+ is the successor of the FM signal and stands for Digital Audio Broadcasting. It is a digital signal that allows for more channels within the same bandwidth and allows for easier switching between channels. Frequently Asked Questions about Logik L55DAB15 Radio

For most of my life I have worked with electronics and for 20 years I have been writing technical operations manuals for various industries. No way would I put my name to this manual, which seems to have been written by an 8 year old child. It is absolute rubbish, particularly in the section which refers to setting up preset stations. When it comes to radios, there is a lot of choice out there, so take the time to consider what you want out of yours. If you'd rather keep things classic and simple, one of our analogue radiosis the one for you. Just set your favourite FM stations and you're good to get listening. FM and AM are both forms of modulation used to transmit a signal. FM stands for Frequency Modulation and AM stands for Amplitude Modulation. AM is the oldest form of modulation. The biggest difference is that the FM signal is much stronger than the AM signal.

I was given this radio (at my request) as a Christmas present by my son and wife. I’m just hoping he never comes round and asks me to demonstrate it.Is your product defective and the manual offers no solution? Go to a Repair Café for free repair services. Alternatively, take a look at our wide selection of Bush DAB radioswith designs to suit all budgets. Why not go for a combined radio and Hi-Fi system for truly stunning sound, whether you're tuned in to your favourite station or linked up to your laptop? To summarise, the LOGIK L55DAB15 could be a good choice if you like its design, but you should be aware of its flaws before purchasing it. Similar radios
