Galvatron's line to Starscream in the 'Transformers: The Movie' French dub was changed from a menacing 'Here's a hint'; to declaring 'Oui, mais plus fort qu'avant!' ("Yes, but stronger than before!") before victoriously obliterating her (Yup, Starscream was girl in the French version).

This redeco of the Universe Galvatron toy was aimed at being even more show-accurate than the Henkei version shown above. Galvatron now features metallic blue paint on most of his robot body and metallic red on his abdominal plates. His cannon barrel is completely unpainted and translucent, likewise to better resemble both the show and the original toy. He now has Decepticon insignias on his robot chest and tank turret, for the first time in the history of the mold. It also has the distinction on being the only version of the mold to have a metallic blue turret, further increasing screen accuracy. Galvatron's transformation is almost insanely complex for a Deluxe Class figure–and in addition, the toy is notorious for having poor plastic tolerances that make it prone to simply falling apart during transformation. Galvatron transforms into a treaded tripod cannon in 33 steps. The rear "leg" of the cannon is on multiple hinges, allowing the toy to aim at different elevations. As part of the C.O.M.B.A.T. System/ F.O.S.S.I.L. Technology, Galvatron has multiple 5 mm ports, though is missing 3 mm posts on his body for Fire Blast effects. Galvatron, Starscream, and Skywarp were flying over a highway when they happened upon Ultra Magnus carrying several Autobot troops in his car-carrier mode. Galvatron swore that their first encounter would also be their last, and the two teams began to duke it out. Part of Hasbro's Platinum Edition offerings for 2016 intended to commemorate the 30th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie, this Galvatron is another redeco of the 2008 Universe Deluxe Class figure, meant to be in " movie-accurate" colors but attempting so in a manner slightly different from previous versions. Notably, it features the return of the "mistaken" tank mode paint color on the left arm. It also uses the Decepticon insignia from the live-action film series instead of the Generation 1 variety.
