About this deal

Orli Shuka’s Albanian drug dealer was a stand out in season one (particularly in his fight sequence with Nigerian leader Mosi) and in season two he takes it to the next level. Played by French Rapper Jahz Armando, in her first acting role, Saba is about the only ‘innocent’ (at the start at least) character in the show and she brings a much needed level of naivety and conscience – almost everyone else in the show wouldn’t think twice about killing someone. Filming on the new season commenced in late June 2021, following earlier comments from star Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, who confirmed the production was gearing up and that he was looking forward to getting stuck into his character once more. Elliot has forged alliances with the Dumanis and has assumed a new role on London's streets (more on that below). His presence naturally invites challenge, even from behind bars, and there's no greater rivalry to finish season two on than the one between Sean and Elliot.

With the Wallace family spread far and wide, pulling the strings in the background are the investors, with Alex Dumani (Paapa Essiedu) the acceptable face of the business and heroin baron Asif Afridi (Asif Raza Mir) as the slightly less acceptable one. The large-scale production and cinematic quality undoubtedly played a massive part in the long wait.Created by Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery this was a slick study of ultra violence set in the capital city, which explored the game play between international gangs vying to control different parts of the criminal underworld. New character Saba, a young family member of the Algerian gangsters will be one to watch going forward.

Sean may be in the clink, but if he can come back from the dead, there's no way he won't come back from this. Dìrísù's character is now deep in the underbelly of London's gritty gang life, and he looks comfy there. They intend to claw their way out of exile and reclaim all they have lost, which should make for an interesting season three. Episode one concentrates on setting the scene, introducing a new gang, the Algerians, establishing Koba, and setting out its stall with breathtaking and brutal set pieces. Tells the story of London being torn apart by the turbulent power struggles of its international gangs and the sudden power vacuum that's created when the head of London's most powerful crim.Since taking on the role she has conducted red carpet interviews with the cast of Bridgerton, covered the BAFTAs and been interviewed by BBC Radio and London Live. Season 2 has also added some new members to its cast, including Waleed Zuaiter ( Baghdad Central), Salem Kali (Dealer), Aymen Hamdouchi (SAS: Red Notice), Fady El-Sayed (A Private War) and French rapper Jasmine Armando in her first TV role. In June 2021, the official cast list for Gangs of London season 2 was released by Sky and Joe Cole was not among the names featured, while the official synopsis mentions Sean's death - however, it's still possible he could make a top secret cameo appearance. Shannon’s been released from prison when the police couldn’t make the charges for Vicky’s (Jing Lusi) murder stick. What Elliot wants more than anything is to save his dad, but the investors are keeping him in a secret location as collateral to keep Elliot under the thumb.

To the point where a main character somehow has a 10x zoom level on a 1x optic at the end, to the ammo capacity of handguns rivalling a drum magazine, to the very poorly integrated digital blood/fire/explosion effects. Marian’s arc between the start of season one and the end of season two is something of a descent into hell. Initially joined forces with Finn’s mistress Floriana (Arta Dobroshi), and supplying weapons to Luan to distribute, she’s taking control for herself. A wiry, bleach-blond nightmare, in a velour tracksuit and bright white trainers, Koba has no scruples and no loyalty to anyone but himself. When the head of one of the city's most influential families was assassinated, his youngest son, Finn Wallace (Joe Cole) jumped at the chance to arrest control over the growing power struggle.

I can't fathom anyone greenlighting a season 3 after this, but if they do, they'd better make sure they wrap it up with a home run. Sean reacts differently to the revelation - although he is shocked, he attempts to team up with Elliot in an attempt to bring down Finn's investors. His regular goons have all been killed by Ed Dumani (Lucian Msamati) and his daughter Shannon (Pippa Bennett-Warner) after an altercation over the shipment of heroin stolen from Koba by Marian (Michelle Fairley) and Luan and then later stolen again by Shannon. Elliot sees that same vision of his father again, a pleading look on his face urging him to do better and so he does.

Lale (Narges Rishidi) gets a blistering extended fight sequence, Billy Wallace (Brian vernal) becomes something of a tragic hero, Marian (Michelle Fairley) has stepped into her son’s shoes in Sean’s absence, and you definitely wouldn’t want to mess with Shannon. Although that ending left the fate of some of Gangs of London's major players hanging in the balance, we've got a good idea of who'll be back. But when the revelation surfaces that Sean is in fact NOT DEAD Elliot has a chance to get his dad out of the country. These two are definitely on opposing sides and their conflict may form the central tension of season three.

It was Sean’s actions which indirectly lead to Luan’s escape and ability to rescue his wife too, while Luan doesn’t have any relationship with Elliot.
