Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Replacement Filter: For use with both the original Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep machine and the Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Day and Night machine Hot shot: The initial ‘hot-shot’ of 70°C water kills any bacteria present in the formula after which cooler water is dispensed to deliver a bottle feed at body temperature, just like breast milk Small particles of carbon may be in the bag or on the surface of your filter. We would love for you to be able to prepare a smaller bottle volume with the Perfect Prep™ unit, but it cannot make up a bottle below 4oz because the volume of the feed needs to be large enough to easily split into two: High water temperature should only ever be an issue in hotter climates, but it is not uncommon for mains water to rise in temperature in cooler climates during a sustained period of hot weather.

This product is intended to filter potable (drinking) water only. Do not put water of unknown quality into this product. We only recommend you use Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Replacement Filters in the Perfect Prep machine. The filter may look a lot like other water filters but inside is a unique filtration membrane designed to remove impurities and contaminants. Most standard water filters do not include an anti-bacterial filtration membrane so will NOT remove bacteria. It is therefore extremely important to ensure that you are buying and using the correct Tommee Tippee anti-bacterial filter.
