About this deal

Out of space on your iPhone? Simply plug in the iXpand™ Flash Drive Go and easily move files off your iPhone, freeing up valuable space. So you can take more selfies, play more games, watch more videos or whatever else you do with your iPhone You can tell if a USB flash drive supports USB 3.0 or higher if its connector is colored blue. Most USB-C drives support USB 3.0 by default. Product specifications subject to change without notice. Pictures shown may vary from actual products. Since the EU decided that all smartphones will require USB-C by 2024, Apple has reluctantly agreed to bring USB-C to the iPhone---at least in Europe, although it remains to be seen what will happen in the rest of the world. This means your flash drive with a Lightning connector may require an adapter (like Apple's USB to Apple Pencil adapter) to work with the iPhone 15, assuming the USB-C rollout is complete by then. As mentioned earlier in this guide, there are a number of different USB types and protocols that you need to be aware of before buying a USB drive.

Standard flash drives may work with the right adapter, but Apple states the drive "must have only a single data partition, and it must be formatted as FAT, FAT32, exFAT (FAT64), or APFS" and "may need the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter" for use with an iPhone. It's easiest to buy a flash drive with everything you need built in. When buying a USB flash drive, you’ll want to focus on storage first. If you have a large number of files, videos, or songs you want to carry around with you, getting a USB drive with at least 64GB is critical. Most USB flash drives go up to 256GB and a few now have 1TB versions.

The iXpand flash drive's most important feature is its Lightning connector, which lets you connect to an iPhone or iPad and transfer data to and from that device. Considering how difficult it can be to transfer data from those devices without Apple's help, that feature alone could be a major selling point for the iXpand. But to get all that, be ready to shell out: The SanDisk iXpand USB flash drive is on the expensive side. How to choose the best USB drive for you Since it has both USB-A and USB-C plugs — there's a slide to expose one or the other — the SanDisk Ultra USB-C offers a nicemix of fast data transfers and future-proofing, so you can be sure it'll work with a variety of devices going forward. iOS 11 or higher required for iXpand Drive App. iXpand Flash Drive not included with iXpand Drive App. For iPhone, iPad and iPod compatibility, see http://www.sandisk.com/support/ixpandcompatibility.

The Kingston IronKey Keypad 200 isn't your ordinary flash drive as you can probably tell from the picture above. Instead of just plugging the drive into your computer to access the files stored on it, you first need to put in a PIN code using its keypad. While this may be overkill for some, those looking to securely transport their most sensitive files will likely appreciate both the design and functionality of the Kingston IronKey Keypad 200. If you need to multitask with many types of device, opt for the Picture Keeper Connect. Its's compatible with both iPhones and Android phones, along with PCs and Macs. I love this app!!! But since the newest update it keeps crashing when you try to transfer a file into PowerPoint. This app honestly has helped me so much for the year that I have had it. I wish i didn’t have to give it a bad review right now but with me being so reliant on this app to do my work I really had to get in touch some way and this was they only way I knew. So please whoever fixes these things please fix the bug I cant do my work and it really stinks. P.S. (I will delete or edit this review if an update fixes the problem)

The iXpand Flash Drive Flip comes with not one but two connectors so you can easily move files between your iPhone, Mac, and USB Type-A PCs. 2 Videos taking up too much space? With the iXpand™ Flash Drive Go you can record right onto the drive, keeping those memory-heavy files from taking up valuable space on your iPhone.

If you don’t need the fastest USB drive around, you can save a bit by opting for a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 drive but it will take longer to transfer files onto and off of the device.

Thank you!
