About this deal

Master Chuuya is the kind of person who will never abandon those who have helped him, even if they end up abandoning him.” Fukuzawa treats Ranpo to red bean porridge, where the boy talks about his bewilderment towards adults, his expulsions at school and work, and his genius parents. Figuring that Ranpo is quite special, Fukuzawa allows the boy to come with him amidst his initial reluctance. They soon arrive at a theater, where Fukuzawa is hired to apprehend a criminal after receiving a death threat signed by an ambiguous "V". They are met by the manager, Egawa, who shows Fukuzawa the note regarding the murder, which Ranpo thinks will happen. I took it as a 'light' read at first since it's a light novel, but hell, that wasn't light at all. It was the heaviest book I'd ever read. It’s hard to rate objectively, but I can’t really take a book out of the postbox, read it in a day, and NOT give it 5 stars. AND THE ENDING OH MY STOP MY HEART BREAKS HUHUHUHHU I didn't see that coming. I cried so hard when reading 55 Minutes (the fourth light novel) and this one made me CRY A LOT TOO. Asagiri sensei really be hurting us like that hahhahaha but it's fine, I know eventually something like that will happen, even in the real story (be strong, my heart).

I read that book a few days ago, and I couldn't stop myself from reading the next volume eventhough I have my end of year exam in 2 weeks. The storyline discusses about responsibility of power, friendship, humanity, betrayal and leadership.

Just once, I want you to imagine just how much it could affect a person if you told them they weren't human."

Put and end to this lonely soul--the soul of a man who couldn't trust the world or its people like you do." Beast - tells the story of an alternative version of the world of Bungo Stray Dogs. The light novel has been adapted into three manga volumes. It is not part of the main BSD universe.

I thought it would be no use for me to read the light novel too, thinking I'd rather read the manga anyway. I mean.. I've already emotionally destroyed by the manga, right? I won't again been destroyed by the light novel too....... right ? Without doubt, I'd give this book 5/5. You don't have to worry, this book is maybe will damage you, but it's worth it. No, It's true. I'm not even joking. I think I really had gone insane. Literally, too. Like.. in that exact sense. Osamu Dazai and the dark era - takes place four years before the start of the series and focuses on Dazai’s past with the Port Mafia, as well as his reason for leaving the organisation. It has been adapted into the anime.

Anyways, I read these 2 books in the translated Korean version, and I could still see the quality of writing Asagiri had presented. Despite reading all of the BSD manga and most of the other light novels online in the last month, I have none of it logged here - but since I actually bought this as a physical copy, I’ll be damned if it’s not contributing to my reading goal. So here we are. It's been roughly one year since Chūya Nakahara joined the Port Mafia, and he's got his sights set on an executive position. But as he makes plans to move up, a man by the name of Paul Verlaine—claiming to be his older brother—appears and vows to assassinate everyone he cares about! Now, Chūya must team up with Adam, a European A.I. investigator, to stop this lunatic before the storm swallows Yokohama once again… [2] Summary [ ] Prologue At Café Uzumaki, Jun'ichirō Tanizaki asks Doppo Kunikida about the origins of the Armed Detective Agency, though Kunikida answers that he only knows that the President had an encounter some time ago that triggered the Agency's establishment. Later, Osamu Dazai arrives and tells them about a fake bomb incident earlier from a woman pining over him at a standing bar. Kunikida later asks what he plans on doing with Atsushi Nakajima, the homeless boy he took in. Dazai seeks out their help on what kind of entrance exam they shall have Atsushi take, after which they convene with the others in their office.

If you like this manga, you might like...

I love how, even though Chuuya doubts his humanity and in the end he has to give up the chance to really find out the truth, some characters believe in him from the start. Like Adam "You value your friendship and make decisions accordingly. I suppose you could call this human nature." or Dazai in his twisted way "You sound like you're certain he's human. Honestly, I love all bsd light novels because the words are... poetic? hurmm I think that's the right word. All of them are beautifully written, including this one. Yeah this is my problem, began Chuuya standing in front of the closed door. But if something like this happened to one of you guys, I don't think I could just ignore it. I'd try to help whether you liked it or not; I bet the rest of you'd feel the same way." DING DONG! I'M WRONG! I'M TOTALLY WRONG. EVEN IF I have already finished the manga, it doesn't matter. Even if I haven't read the manga beforehand, it doesn't matter. Even if I jump straight into this book without knowing the plot, it doesn't matter. For his final journal entry, Rimbaud wrote having gifted Verlaine with a bowler hat that could control command sequences using ability metal powder. Later, with Verlaine put to sleep, N—having killed his Mafia captors—remotely unleashes Demonic Beast Guivre, the singularity living inside Verlaine. With Verlaine succumbing to the beast, Chūya and Adam get swallowed inside, while Guivre tramples on everything in its path, including N, and heads towards Yokohama. After Chūya is shown Verlaine's memories on how Guivre was thwarted nine years ago, Adam initiates his Final Protocol, his secret mission, and sacrifices himself to incinerate Guivre using the Shell built inside him, but to little avail. Using Verlaine's memory and as per Verlaine's plea to his brother, Arahabaki Chūya unleashes his energy on Guivre and defeats it.

The light novel continues the story after the events of "Fifteen" and the Arahabaki incident. This book basically explores Chuuya's past. I absolutely loved this book and this was one of my most anticipated releases for this year. No way I could ever rate it less than 5 stars. It has everything I needed - no romance, fight scenes, sci-fi, supernatural abilities and great characters. Also, only bungou stray dogs can make you empathize even with the anatgonists. To the people who have read or watched bungou stray dogs, or kin any of the characters, or feel that its relatable, PLEASE get therapy. I'll try to write this review without any spoilers hahahhaha I've spoilt a lot in my updates so yes, hopefully this will be a spoiler-free review. il fatto che abbia segnato 72 quotes ALLA PRIMA LETTURA non è rassicurante, dato che di solito ne segno intorno alle 20 e poi quando rileggo finisco per aggiungerne come minimo il doppio (sei di corvi i'm looking at you), quindi ceh se mai mi venisse la malsanissima idea di rileggere questo concentrato di dolore cosa faccio, sottolineo direttamente tutto il libro?
