We at Incredible Edible plant fruit and vegetables in public spaces across Prestwich, Whitfield and Radcliffe. Things get messy in North Lanarkshire as Stef and his audience discover what goes into haggis, go nuts for some scrumptious squirrel in the Mystery Meal and Stef also visits an abattoir to see how animals are slaughtered for meat. Work at the moment involves preparing the beds for planting, sowing seeds and growing and harvesting them. The form was then placed in the unit and baked into a rubbery soft candy in the shape of worms, insects, and flowers among others, coming in six flavors: licorice, mint, butterscotch, cherry, root beer and cinnamon.

In 2010, the first Incredible Edible farm, a one-acre plot, began to supply its fresh produce to local businesses.

Be inspired to cultivate and cook amazing new crops with this seed-to-plate guide to more than 50 out-of-the-ordinary edibles. for a meal, drink and dessert plus they have a great kids area with lots of toys, colouring in etc to keep the children entertained.

Read more about the condition Very Good: A book that has been read and does not look new, but is in excellent condition. The Incredible Edible project is an urban gardening project which was started in 2008 by Pamela Warhurst, Mary Clear and a group of like minded people in Todmorden, West Yorkshire, UK. In the UK, the success of these collective groups has directly influenced policies on both a local and national level.

There are lots of people who have walked this journey before you, ready to share their learning and local networks meeting together to inspire and build each other up. The Incredible Edible Network was set up in 2012 in response to the huge popularity of the original group in Todmorden and the flood of enquiries from those who wanted to embrace it’s aims. It all started with two ordinary people in Todmorden (sizeof Penrith) planting a patch of rhubarb next to a bus stop. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.
