About this deal

For easy cleaning, the burrs are easily removed which is an important factor in preserving the flavor, especially when changing between beans. The plastic hopper and collector can both be simply wiped clean after use as well - ensuring an authentic and trouble free coffee experience.

With a host of innovative features and benefits, the Coffee Grinder from Dualit will make coffee making a pleasurable and simple experience. Thanks to the conical burr design, the Coffee Grinder spins at a rate of just 450 rpm (slower than other machines). This minimises heat and preserves the delicate aromas and oils released from the beans during the grind. A slower and cooler process such as this is only achievable with a conical burr grinder. The Dualit Burr Coffee Grinder has 10 grind settings to choose from and a portion control dial, depending on the quantity required. It has removable burrs for ease of cleaning but does not come with a cleaning brush to assist you. It produced even grinds, on both minimum and maximum capacity, but some design features let it down marginally. It's spacious hopper, which can take 250g of beans, is ideal if you want to make large quantites at a time. This Dualit coffee grinder produced even grinds, on both minimum and maximum capacity. It is sturdy and attractive but some design features did let it down. You can only adjust the grind setting prior to putting beans in the hopper - and this isn't ideal if you regularly require different grind settings. You won't be able to make the most of the spacious 250g hopper as you'll only be able to put the amount of beans in that you require each time! It's also not overly intuitive to use and lining up the hopper to the grind setting can be hard to see, depending on your angle. This gave customers the option of using ground coffee or handy ESE coffee pods, the Espressivo paved the way for Dualit's current range of multi-brew machines. Dualit launched its first coffee machines that used capsules to make coffee. Coffee continued to be at the forefront of Dualit's product development when it saw an opportunity to develop coffee capsules that would work in Nespresso®'s* range of capsule machines. The company outgrew its original home in the Old Kent Road and moved to new premises in Crawley, West Sussex. There they invented a new semi-automatic espresso maker early in the decade, Dualit launched the Espressivo Coffee Machine in 2008. Loud - this product has been scientifically assessed and found to be louder than most in this category.
