realized what happened with mine, fyi, when you're doing the upgrade, make sure bluetooth is turned OFF on your phone! otherwise Windows won't recognize the device It does seem like it could be a good bit of kit if it can prove to be reliable, but i don't want to be unplugging and reconnecting the cable each time i want to listen to music as it defeats the point of bluetooth and I may as well plug my phone in via a cable.Wireless connection with Apple device via special Bluetooth technology with automatic reconnection, Read and display entire iPod library from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch on car display Example: navigation using the phone and a phone comes in - I NEED to stop the music but I cannot. and The re connection of Bluetooth works great as well. As soon as I get in the car, without any interaction, my iPhone connects to both the WMA3000B and the on board BMW phone connection. I had some issues getting my phone to connect and stay connected. At first it wouldn't connect at all and then it would connect but then drop after a few seconds. I am not sure what the issue was because now my phone connects instantly and stays connected even when the T2A is in my closed console. This after about a day of use. Whenever I change my car I set about ensuringthat I can stream my music playlists (alright, I really want the podcasts!) from Spotify through the stereo. As you have probably noticed by now I have a preference to keep the interior as OEM as possible– including retaining steering wheeland headunit controls! if the mmi says the tune2air isnt connected, reset the mmi with three buttons, will then reboot and should connect to the tune to air fine. I took a leap and bought Tune2Air for BT streaming from an iPhone to MMI2G B&O. Lately I've been having more issues with it. I think it started with the most recently Spotify update, so Spotify is likely the real problem here, but it has me re-evaluating my Bluetooth setup. What is everyone doing for their bluetooth music setup now? Has a newer, better device come out? Any chance for a firmware upgrade that will allow me to just play my music without an adapter? I'm guessing tine2air is powered because it emulates the ipod connection rather than the aux connection? As I said – the clear winner is the Tune2Air for most people. I’ve used both, I like both, but if I have the option in future I will continue to install Tune2Air whenever possible. How to install your adapter in less than 2 minutes(!) Anyone with the update been able to skip songs on spotify/pandora with the physical buttons on the main car console? When I press mine with my old firmware it starts my iTunes and skips to the second song. So annoying. Also, do song names from spotify finally show up on the dash? It sounds fine. I am used to the sound from Sirius and I would say it is about the same quality. I was expecting worse so I guess I am satisfied.

I’m not sure about you, but music is a huge part of driving for me. I love nothing more than the combination of a great car, a great roadand a great playlist! Confusingly many will have Bluetooth hands free functionality(mine has this) but without the kit to enable audio streaming. Can I retrofit Bluetooth audio streaming to my E46 BMW 3 Series? E46 3 series Petrol Engines: 316i, 318i, 320i, 323i, 325i, 328ci, 330ci, 330i, M3 (including M3 CS) and M3 CSLFirst, I start my music streaming source of choice on my phone prior to utilizing Tune2Air. (It helps to have a favorite playlist) As a serial second handcar buyer it can be hit-or-miss on whether the car I‘ve chosen has Bluetooth connectivityor not – and even if it does sometimes it isn’t possible to stream audio anyway. Frustratingly, cars of this age were born into the crossover of Bluetooth technology so some models will have Bluetooth audio streaming, while many more others don’t. Works great...BUT... every time the phone is connected to the WMA1000 AND "Media" is selected from the Audi console, it WILL start Google Play Music automatically. I tried pressting the "stop" button from the Android phone.. it stop for 2 seconds, then music starts again. I have had the same issue, sadly it seems that you can't choose what music app you want to use as default... But there's a workaround...
