About this deal

The flame is burning only on one side of the candle: The wish will only be partially delivered; there will be some aspect missing or delayed. This color offers a sense of magnetism based upon human attraction, and may represent passion, love, and sex. A color often associated with energy, red may represent anything from trading fear for confidence to an intense sense of passion and lust. Words commonly associated with the color red include romance, love, desire, loyalty, passion, action, energy, motivation, assertiveness, creativity, courage, power, strength, and survival. Red is the root chakra. Orange Law, C. K. (2006). "Laminar premixed flames". Combustion physics. Cambridge, England: Cambridge University Press. p.300. ISBN 0-521-87052-6.

There are different methods of distributing the required components of combustion to a flame. In a diffusion flame, oxygen and fuel diffuse into each other; the flame occurs where they meet. In a premixed flame, the oxygen and fuel are premixed beforehand, which results in a different type of flame. Candle flames (a diffusion flame) operate through evaporation of the fuel which rises in a laminar flow of hot gas which then mixes with surrounding oxygen and combusts. Chemicals can also influence the color of a flame that may not be associated with temperatures alone. For example, Lithium Chloride will produce a pinkish-red color. Red flames can be produced by strontium chloride or nitrate. Orange flames can be produced by calcium chloride, and yellow flames can come from barium chloride. Table salt, or sodium chloride, produces a light orange color, and green flames can be produced by copper sulfate and boric acid. Blue flames are produced by butane as well as copper chloride. Finally, you can produce violet flames with a combination of potassium sulfate and potassium nitrate where a peach colored flame is produced by potassium chloride. Rituals may include a combination of colors, either created with one candle transitioning to the next or with more than one candle being part of the ritual at the same time. Understanding the various meanings ascribed to each color allows you to make the best decision for the type of candle you wish to buy. Red This guide offers an overview of how the color a candle possesses may have deeper spiritual significance or a divine nature to people who practice candle magic. Learn connections between candle colors and the calendar by understanding how certain colors congregate on the calendar on different days of the week. The type of candles, how they are used, their colors, and the way they create flames may have deeper significance.

As stated above, colors have their energies, and these candles contain them. Here are the colors and their meanings: CANDLE COLORS Blue promotes harmony, peace, understanding, empathy, and wisdom. Blue is a great color to surround yourself with when you feel conflicted or stressed. It’s a soothing calming force and connects with your chakras and any emotional wounds that need healing. Yellow This profound color is often associated with caution when on a traffic light, but has a different meaning on a candle. Rather than calling for slowing down or proceeding cautiously, yellow encourages a person to consider new career directions, focusing on social or networking activities, or expanding a person’s skills. Other traits for yellow candles, whether lit or unlit, include intellect, wisdom, knowledge, gaining skills, expanding intuition, traveling to expand horizons, communication, business knowledge, engaging in action, and experiencing travel or other stimulation. Yellow is associated with the solar plexus chakra. Green The chemical kinetics occurring in the flame are very complex and typically involve a large number of chemical reactions and intermediate species, most of them radicals. For instance, a well-known chemical kinetics scheme, GRI-Mech, [6] uses 53 species and 325 elementary reactions to describe combustion of biogas.

Yellow is a networker, a super connector, and a chatterbox! It enhances your networking and social skills, bringing in new career opportunities. (Try keeping a yellow candle on your desk—unlit—as a beacon for new opportunity). RedIn this way, candles are similar to other tools used in divination. Dice, beads, gems, tarot cards, crystals, and many other tools used for divination are often evaluated by their physical characteristics, including their color. Simply collecting candles will not provide guidance about the future or any supernatural powers.

Working with candles takes skill and patience and isn’t recommended in most cases. I provide these “do it yourself” articles for educational purposes, but it is strongly recommended that you consult a divination expert such as Mystic Amber and allow us to do the work for you.Jozef Jarosinski; Bernard Veyssiere (2009). Combustion Phenomena: Selected Mechanisms of Flame Formation, Propagation and Extinction. CRC Press. p.172. ISBN 978-0-8493-8408-0. Orange is the color of ambition and is used to achieve goals at work and in your career, but also in love, albeit to a lesser extent. It is a color of positivity, so if you feel troubled by something someone has said or done, if you feel threatened by envy, by someone else’s words, or if they have made you feel inferior, use the orange candle flame to feel charged again and for positive radiation. At the higher levels of the flame, brown transitions into red and yellow. This is an area with a greater amount of carbon that has temperatures approaching 1400° Fahrenheit.
