About this deal

The 570S GT4 is based on the 570S Coupe from the McLaren Sports Series. The model is homologated to full GT4 specification, and is sold in a ready-to-race configuration, eligible for all GT4-regulated series globally. It is also the model that is used for the newly launched for Pure McLaren GT Series. This pushchair has been so versatile and can be used with a car seat or carry cot compatible with this model. They are easy to put on and take off and doesn’t disturb a sleeping baby. Great for storage as it’s a small umbrella food push air and not to bulky also saving in boot space in the car and small and lightweight for use in public transport or for taking in a plane. Read more I noticed that there are two different models as well, the Techno XT and the newer Techno XLR model. As far as I can tell, the newer model is a bit more expensive and a bit bulkier but is potentially more comfortable for the wee one. Are there are other major differences between the two and do any of you have a pronounced preference for one model or the other?? I'd like something that can be used from birth but will last the course until baby is about 2 years old Overall it is a really nice pram, the steering is great. It is so easy to fold away and fits easy in boots of cars, the colour of the pram is lovely. It looks even nicer in person. Read more

I'm a complete first timer and after lots of chat on this board and a thread I've started over on the pregnancy board, I'm thinking that the Maclaren Techno is a good choice for me because:So could I trouble some of you amazing experts on all things pushchair related out there and ask what your general opinion on the Maclaren Techno is? Maclaren Techno XLR stroller is something like the luxury sedan among buggies. Unlike most buggies, which come along like anorexia on wheels, the manufacturer Maclaren‘s vehicle collects many equipment points. In addition to its huge sun canopy, the Maclaran XLR stands out above all for its particularly roomy seat width. At the same time, the competition falls considerably short on this point at the latest. I have nothing bad to say about this buggy absolutly love it my daughter fit til she was 4 in the buggy cosy toes was big enough throughout whole use handle height is fab brilliant seat space for child also ... highly recommend Read more

Compared to some other brand of strollers it isn't the most attractive and still remains with the same design. Whilst this doesn't bother me, as I've bought a lovely liner and foot muff. If design and style is what you're looking for this isn't the pushchair for you. But If comfort, stability and long lasting is what you're hoping for it's definitely worth the money Read more In city driving, it convinces with its front-swiveling dual wheels, which are said not to be upset by long-term use or even bumpy roads. The sturdy but lightweight aluminum frame ensures a lightweight of 7.5 kilograms suitable for city use. Also, the folding mechanism’s one-handed operation has been improved compared to the predecessor in the course of the model update and a huge shopping basket. And another problem area of the predecessor seems to have been solved: The soft top no longer falls onto the wheels and thus stays clean. Conclusion This is a great pushchair i have had 3 one for all of my children it is very tall so if you have tall children like i did it is great and hold a log more weight unlike some strollers it lasted me 3 years each time well worth the money I spent on it Read more B pram great quality pram. The seat is a great size. Fits my tall 2 1/2 year old in very well with plenty of room for many years to come. The sun shade is great for in the summer while your child sleeps. I dont use this as my main pram so wasn’t always folding it down so found this quiet hard to do other than that can’t fault it and easily could be used everyday. Read more

I would be interested in your experiences if you get the carrycot LittleMiss - am thinking of getting one. Got the XT for DD and it is brill but for new baby wanted parent facing mode at first so may buy XLR like you but get carry cot. I have seen it and it isn't big though so probably only last about 3-4 months I imagine. The XLR can be used with a carry cot so the baby can lay completely flat, it has a wider more padded seat too. Best pushchair I used with my other children but being I have a big family now and due to having another bby I can’t afford another one which I’m upset about I’d love to have this again no more buying loads pushchairs and Parma it’s all in one Read more A convenient one-hand fold makes the Techno XLR easy to transport. Includes a shopping basket to store essentials and a raincover with UPF+50 protection to shield against the elements.

Easy to use and push if you don't over load in weight shopping bags, raher easy to fold it down for easy storage. Easily to attatch raincover could do with making a bit longer to ensure childs feet are completely covered and protected when in use in bad weather. Read more Suitable from birth to approx. three years (15kg), the Maclaren Techno XLR Stroller has a large seat with four recline positions, and comes with a head hugger and shoulder pads for optimum comfort. Based on the revolutionary new McLaren Artura road car, the new GT4 represents a significant step up from the outgoing 570S GT4, itself a hugely successful competition car which has achieved many race and championship wins with our customer racing teams. Maclaren refused to fix the brakes that stopped working after roughly 6 months. Their argument was that a manufacturing defect would show earlier and that some dust got into the breaks and broke them.Ha ha, perfect. I'm 5'8 or so and DH is 6'1 so we're not giants by any means but I've found myself slightly stooping over to push other buggies and I can only imagine how much of a pain this would become over time!! I love this pushchair. It really is built to last. It's extremely sturdy and my child seems very comfortable in it. I've taken this pushchair on all terains with no issues. The wheels have remained in place and solid. I have been using this one since my toddler was around 7-8 months. Good quality against the windy city, good rain cover, nice colours collection. My daughter can sleep very well and the hood is great for sunny days. Read more
