The girls arrive at the janitor's closet to find that the puppies had caused quite a mess in there, much to their mother's disappointment. They'll clean it up later. In the meantime, they can't keep the dogs in the closet. Nikki gets an idea and suggests they hide them in Principal Winston's office since he's at a meeting over at the high school. Chloe and Zoey are skeptical about the idea, but they ultimately acquiesce. When the animal shelter that Brandon volunteers at (how cute is he?) is too full to take a litter of abandoned puppies Nikki decides to look after them until the shelter has more room. Simple, right? Ummm no! This book was hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing because there were so many funny parts. That's what I love about Dork Diaries, it keeps you entertained and always smiling while reading. Sometimes, I read in front of my friends and they think I am crazy because I laugh so hard. And other times, my friends laugh along with me even though they don't know why I am laughing.

i feel like it was good enough to not rate it a 2. but this was one of the more stupid books out of the series. like who brings dogs to school?! Marcus Marcus is a recurring character in the Dork Diaries series. He is the guitarist of Nikki's band, Actually, I'm Not Really Sure Yet. He appears in Dork Diaries: Tales From a Not-So Talented Pop Star and Dork Diaries: Tales From a Not-So Happy Heartbreaker. He appears to be a shy, nice, and thoughtful character in Dork Diaries and is also known as one of the smartest people in school along with Theodore L. Swagmire III. He also has a crush on Chloe Garcia, and the both of them went on a date at the Sweetheart Dance in Dork Diaries: Tales From a Not-So Happy Heartbreaker. Brandon is a nice guy but I wish he would speak up more. Chloe and Zoey are awesome and funny in their own way and I cannot forget Brianna, she is the one who makes me laugh the most.
