About this deal

Cadbury Secret Santa Starts From Monday, 06 November 2023 (from 6am) and ends Sunday 24 December 2023 at 23:59 Lidl's chocolate is far creamier and has a much nicer taste than Aldi. When comparing it amongst its competitors on price, taste and appearance, this comes out top. It's best when it comes to value for money by far. To take part festive fans should look out for the Cadbury Secret Santa posters that will be appearing across the country, including train stations, shopping centres and bus stops from now until 24 December. More special digital posters will be appearing than ever before.

This year, why not indulge yourself or someone you love with the tantalising taste of a Cadbury chocolate advent calendar? A big brand name in the chocolate industry this Kinder Santa is sold at Sainsbury's and a miniature version at Asda. It's geared towards young children with the famous white chocolate inside underneath a coating of milk chocolate. Surprisingly, when lined up against its competitors, this was the joint smallest at 17cms tall - compared to 26cms for the largest from Aldi and Lidl. It also was more expensive than the supermarket offerings, which drops it a point, yet cheaper than other leading chocolate giants of Kinder and Lindt. SWEET TOOTH: The posters will appear around the country in more than 200 locations (Photo by Ray Burmiston) Cadbury and Lindt are the old timers in this field but budget supermarkets like Aldi and Lidl are giving them a run for their money with their own versions. Even Iceland and Poundland are offering their own low-cost chocolate Santas to shoppers. You can send a Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate bar to someone special via their Secret Santa Postal Service (completely free). This year, Cadbury's is removing its physical pop-ups in favour of a virtual postal service that can be accessed via posters posted all across the country, enabling 120,000 people nationwide to post chocolate in secret. According to WalesOnline, this will be the brand's fifth consecutive year launching the fun event, honouring the warmth and joy of giving selflessly during Christmas.

Cadbury Dairy Milk & Caramilk Castle Kit

This Santa is extremely sweet with a strange synthetic after taste. It may look good but the price and flavour let it down. Jeff will lead those who scan a QR code from the poster, through the interactive digital experience and assist them in choosing the right bar for their intended receiver.

Aldi's chocolate Santa is under the Dairyfine label and is a towering, huge product at 26cms high. It's the same size as Lidl's but I soon find out why as once the wrapping comes off, they are made from identical moulds, which you can see in the video below. The taste is different though. In an effort to make this Christmas memorable for everyone, Cadbury is once again teaming up with The Trussell Trust. Over the course of the season, they will give 75,000 chocolate bars to over 200 food banks within the Trussell Trust network. It's horrendously scary for me let alone a child. The taste of it is very sweet that leaves an unpleasant after taste. A poor offering, so don't be fooled by the price as it's not the best value for money and falls short all round. Nil point. You can choose from the following Cadbury 100-120g chocolate bars: Cadbury Dairy Milk Winter Wonderland, Cadbury Dairy Milk (original), Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo, Cadbury Dairy Milk Whole nut, Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut, CDM Mini Snowballs and Cadbury Dairy Milk Plant BarI'm surprised to find the chocolate Santa underneath the foil looks identical to Aldi's version, although this is made by Favorina. That's where the similarity ends as the taste is very different.
