About this deal

Couldn’t be more impressed with your product and your Company. They look great on my white Corvette convertible with red interior. Had a minor issue, and was called immediately by the home office, and they gave me all the information that I needed! They Rimblades arrived with everything I needed to install them myself. They were effortless to put on, and I love the final Rimsavers are made from a near rigid plastic, that if it wasn’t made in such a thin design would appear as a hard plastic. It gets its flexibility from the thin lightweight design profile. Rimsavers are a bond on solution and have a semi-gloss smooth appearance that brake dust wipes straight off. Rimsavers have a stiff fitting guide lip on the top side and the 3M VHB (very high bond) tape is sealed from the weather, brake dust, road salt and wheel cleaners by a sealing lip. BOND ON UNIVERSAL FITTING Always been satisfied with the service and great product. the only thing I have a concern about is the width of the new Rimsaver. I used the original on my Crossfire and I like the size of them. When I finish one, then I can decide. This product and support is the best. Alloygator rim protectors cover the edges of your wheels to keep them safe from harm and, until now, have had this market all to themselves. But new Rimblades claim to offer similar protection in just as many colours.

The alloy gators don't use any adhesive on the wheel itself there are metal clips that fit on the gator and in between the tyre n wheel, adhesive is used to secure a plastic cover over the 2 edges were they meet once fitted to the wheel. There spot on. I hadn't hem on my swift for about 2 years. Gave excellent protection. When took them off last week not a mark on the wheel but gators were slightly scuffed. Hope this helps Still, it sounds like you cleaned the wheels very carefully before installation, so it may be that the issue is something other than a bit of tire shine contamination. It’s hard to say without knowing more. Like the look of the alloy gators. I don't fancy glueing anything to my wheels unless I can get them of without damaging the wheel/tyre Due to the unique patented profile, Rimblades® Original are conformable to a multitude of different wheel shapes (although they do require a continuous surface). Was looking around and came across rimblades - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_922523_langId_-1_categoryId_246902The new Rimblades® Ultra are made from Santoprene by Exxon Mobil (appearance of hard rubber) with a micro fine wire core to prevent expansion or contraction due to extreme temperatures. Rimblades® Ultra have a genuine 3M GTE6208 Automotive grade VHB tape factory applied to the rear side. They are available in 8 colours. I have installed them on my summer rims so they will not be used for another month yet. Just as advertised. They were easy to apply and if they work as well as I hope they will, I will let you know. The RimSavers look really good. Alloy kerb damage is preventable. As it happens, kerb damage to your alloys may occur entirely innocently. You may scuff your wheels when parallel parking, for example. Of course, you may end up damaging your wheels if you need to swerve - and hit a kerb.

Second, while it’s possible that your specific wheels are incompatible with RimSavers, most of the problems people have with adhesive are related to silicone based tire shine. This is the most common type of tire shine, and – unfortunately – just a few molecules of silicone will cause bonding problems between the wheel and the adhesive we use on our product (which is the same adhesive used to attach wheel weights – heavy-duty stuff). I have used RimBlades before to protect my wheels and they look and work great. So when I get a new car, I bought RimBlades to protect the wheels on this car. I recommend RimBlades because they work and also look great!!! - Paul C. Protect your alloy wheel rims from kerb damage and cover up existing marks using our easy to fit, self-adhesive alloy wheel protectors. Also, alloys are excellent at keeping your vehicle light and easy to manoeuvre. That’s going to make for a smoother ride and easier steering. Beyond this, you’ll save money on the fuel economy alone - there’s less pull, meaning less need for fuel. I came very close yesterday to scuffing one of my alloys on my ST2 and my stomach dropped so i was thinking of getting Rim Blades to stop me scuffing them in the future and was after some opinions on what you guys think and if you recommend them was thinking of going for some red ones to match the red brake callipers, World Class Manufacture: Rimblades are manufactured wholly in the UK utilising the most advanced materials on the market, supplied by global technology partners such as 3M and Exxon Mobil.
