Lillet is a blend of rigorously selected wines and fruit liqueurs, aged in oak vats for around 12 months, during which it is given the same care as the Grands Crus (great wines) of Bordeaux.

Created in 1962 in Podensac, a small village south of Bordeaux, by Maison Lillet using methods passed down since the 19th century. Lillet (pronounced lee-lay), is a French Aperitif made from a blend of wine, liqueurs, fruits and herbs. A subtle blend of selected wines and fruit macerations, Lillet is matured according to tradition in oak casks in our podensac wine cellars, South of Bordeaux. The palate shows a powerful bouquet of fresh orange, ripe berries, vanilla and delicate spices with a robust structure. The driver will input your year of birth into their device and may then require an ID check to complete the age verification process. This Lillet Rouge comes to us from the Bordeaux Region of France and is made using specially selected wines and fruit liqueurs and is aged for a minimum of 12 months in Oak Vats!I love all the Lillet varieties, but the Rouge is less easy to find in the UK so great to see it here.
