About this deal

In this reading resource, we have taken some of the lovely vocabulary used by Joe Todd-Stanton and your class must look at the words and identify their meanings or try to explain in their own words what they think the word means. Your Lower KS2 class will need to add in capital letters, full stops, commas, apostrophes, question marks and exclamation marks to complete the sentences/passages. After reading the first half of Arthur and the Golden Rope book, your class can complete this comprehension and answer a range of questions based on their understanding, ability to retrieve information and apply their literacy knowledge.

Plus in science take the chance to go on a sound walk around the house or outdoors. You are also going to learn about the only British king with 'the Great' after his name.In this activity your KS2 class must read through the passage from the book Arthur and the Golden Rope and identify the verbs in the text and write the present/past tense of the words. Kids love the illustrations and story. I've since realized that this is the second book in a series, but the first is no where to be found. I hope we can eventually locate a copy of the first book. Here is the next idea in the series based around the fantastic book: Arthur and The Golden Rope by Joe Todd Stanton.

Příběh malého chlapce Artura (prvního v dlouhé linii Brownstonů), který se vydal zachránit své islandské městečsko poté, co bájný vlk Fenrir uhasil velký oheň. Doputuje až do Åsgardu, kde požádá Thora o pomoc. Ten rád pomůže, má to ale háček - ono v titulu zmíněné zlaté lano... Pro: Norse mythology, Viking Age, actions & adventures, illustrations, fast paced, unlikely hero, magical objects, ancient mythical world In this idea, pupils explore where different stereotypes come from and discuss how to challenge them. Táto kniha rozpráva príbeh o prvom členovi tejto odvážnej rodiny, o islandskom chlapcovi menom Artúr, o jeho udatnosti a hrdinských činoch.

knihu Artur a zlaté lano je veľký zážitok. Už obálka so zlatými písmenami a jemným pogumovaním, šité viazanie a vôňa ulahodí každému správnemu knihomoľovi.Arthur is counselled by the village elder, who is a woman ( not sure why I'm so taken with that fact!) He becomes adventurous and brave, endlessly interested in his surroundings. He gathers and carries around keepsakes and charms from his adventures and who knows when they'll come in useful. Today, you are going to be reading part one of Arthur and the Golden Rope, a book you are going to be using in English all week. In maths, you are going to learn what is meant by area and solve some problems. Here is the first idea in a new series of videos based around the fantastic book: Arthur and The Golden Rope by Joe Todd Stanton. These ideas demonstrate how creative technology can support and enhance learning and reading. In this idea, pupils put themselves into the role of the town's people and share their thoughts on Arthur. Príbeh o Artúrovi, ktorý napriek svojmu veku dokázal preľstiť a poraziť veľkého, nebezpečného Fenrira, pri lapení ktorého zlyhali samotní bohovia, by nemal chýbať v žiadnej knižnici.
