Die Catrice Aqua Ink-In-Gloss Lip Stains sind mir schon bei meinem Preview Beitrag über die Catrice Sortimentsneuheiten für das Frühjahr 2017 ins Auge gesprungen! Aus irgendeinem Grund schien ich da jedoch die einzige Beauty Bloggerin zu sein, denn die meisten konzentrieren sich auf eine der anderen Lippen Neuheiten von Catrice: Die glossigen Lip Cushions! Klar, alles was “Cushion” im Titel hat, ist derzeit interessant, verstehe ich schon. Allerdings muss ich sagen, dass mich persönlich die Lip Cushions beim Swatchen eher enttäuscht haben: Sie erschienen mir sehr klebrig und nicht besonders innovativ, eigentlich nur ein normales Gloss mit einem Kissenapplikator. Meh. The second lip product is the Catrice Aqua Ink-In-Gloss, and as you can tell from the name already, it is a gloss which gives a semi-permanent stain to the lips. Similar to the Lip Liners this product is water-based and vegan. It comes in 4 different shades. Moreover, it has a lightweight finish and contains Glycerin and feels moist on the lips and doesn’t dry them out. Ich habe beim Auftragen von Burgundy Sunset Waves das Gefühl gehabt, dass er sich noch ein klein wenig besser verstreichen lässt, und kleinere Unregelmässigkeiten gnädiger vergibt als Let’s Mauve to the Beach. Die Farbe ist wundervoll knallig, aber dabei trotzdem alltagstauglich dank der leichten Konsistenz. Nach einigem Überlegen entschied ich mich schließlich für die beiden untersten Farben auf dem Swatchbild: 030 Burgundy Sunset Waves und 040 Let’s Mauve to the Beach. Ich habe die beiden Lip Stains von Catrice jetzt einige Zeit getestet und – ich bin wirklich extrem angetan! There is a total of 6 shades in the collection. Like a true marker, the colors show a lot darker on the lips. I’m talking very very dark, even for the lightest shade that I have. The more layers you apply, the darker it gets. They can apply a bit patchy, so make sure there is nothing on your lips (no lip balm).

Die Konsistenz der Aqua Ink-In-Gloss Lip Stains ist schwer zu beschreiben: Sehr leicht, wässerig-gelig, aber dabei nicht zu flüssig. Auf den Lippen fühlen sie sich zunächst ein klein wenig seltsam an, aber dann ist das Tragegefühl insgesamt sehr angenehm, da man sie kaum spürt und sie auch nicht so kleben wie ein klassisches Gloss. Nun, und der übrig bleibende Lip Stain ist dann einfach nur der Hammer! Er ist so intensiv, dass man abends schon ein wenig Mühe hat, ihn zu entfernen – Mizellenwasser und/oder Reinigungsöl kann hier helfen (oder mein heiß geliebter Heimish All Clean Balm!). Die Farbe des Stains würde ich als Kirschrot beschreiben, und insbesondere für jene von Euch mit stark pigmentierten Lippen ist sie sehr empfehlenswert. Hier sieht man den Farbeffekt wirklich gut! Catrice Aqua Ink-In-Gloss Lip Stains: mein FazitThere is absolutely no transfer and even with make up remover, it’ll stay on your lips. I wore it a couple of weeks ago, when I went to a restaurant. I applied it around 6 pm in the evening and it was still on my lips when I woke up in the morning. It just slightly faded on the inside of my mouth. This here is the shade 020 “Jump Into The Red River”, a classic red shade again. Typically for a gloss it comes with a angled sponge applicator. Surprisingly, the swatched product is super vibrant in color and not what you expect a gloss to be. Unlike the lip liners this product doesn’t dry down matte but stays glossy and moist on the lips. Also this stain is very long-lasting and despite fading out throughout the day by drinking and eating it will still leave a hint of color on your lips. The applicator on this one seems strange at first, but I found I was able to create a very precise line with this, while also making it easy to color in all of my lip. On the swatch this feathered quite a bit, but on my lips that didn’t happen. The color was easy to build up and wasn’t patchy. It turned out a lot more intense than I had hoped and as this wore off during the day, it simply faded to a lighter color. Fun fact: it took an oil based remover to take this off and I could still see some product that has settled in my fine lines. It truly took a scrubbing session to take it all of. Talking about long-lasting indeed! Catrice Lip Dresser Shine Stylo Wie auch ihre koreanischen Vorbilder funktionieren die Catrice Aqua Ink-In-Gloss Lip Stains sozusagen in 2 Phasen: Als recht klassische, nicht allzu lang haltbare Lip Cream nach dem ersten Auftragen, und als die Lippen dauerhaft und intensiv einfärbender Stain oder Tint. Catrice therefore called out for the term “asianification”, which means the creation of products that are inspired by the technology and ingredients used in the asian beauty industry. Some inspirations come from the very popular cushion products, but also lip tints which are super popular in Korea. I own two Catrice Aqua Ink Lip Liners and a Gloss from their Aqua Ink collection, and I will share the swatches and my impression on these products with you today.

I haven’t tried the lightest shade yet. And I do feel that the final look will depend on the natural color of your lips. The colors I’ve tried are so dark, which I personally don’t mind. But if you’re looking out for softer shades, you might want to pass on these. If however you are on the hunt for a product that you can apply and not worry about for the rest of the day, that will not budge no matter what, you should definitely try out these babies!After trying that first lip stain, I wasn’t too hopeful about this one. However, this is the surprise product of this review. This is not a lip liner, despite its name. It is a long-lasting water-based lip staining product that is semi-permanent that just won’t budge. And that’s also what Catrice promises this product to be. As you can see there is quite a bit of product on the applicator and that caused an uneven application. It also went on weird to begin with, which is a problem I have had with many other lip stains in the past. I’m not sure what it is with me and lip stains, but they hardly ever work for me. Either they only stain one of my lips, or they leave a strange ring around my lips. This one does the latter as you can see in the lip swatch below. Catrice Aqua Ink Lip Liner Earlier this year there have been several product launches from Catrice Cosmetics that were quite appalling to me because their inspirations came from asian beauty products. I talked about the Catrice Lip Cushion before and today I will show you the Catrice Aqua Ink Lip Liner and Catrice Aqua Ink-In-Gloss: Was haltet Ihr von den Catrice Aqua Ink-In-Gloss Lip Stains? Habt Ihr schon die Catrice Neuheiten bei Müller oder dm gesichtet? The tip is a weird little sphere, which they call a bullet applicator. It’s quite flexible and is juicy. It’s as easy to apply as with a pointed tip. I’m not sure what the function is, but maybe it prevents the tip from drying out…

The staying power is a huge plus. The lip liner stays on my lips for almost 24-30 hours after which it starts fading away. It leaves a semi-permanent tint to my lips because of which the color is very hard to remove. I use an oil-based makeup remover and a scrub to remove the stain completely. It is a waterproof lip liner and thus, it easily sustains meals and drinks. Also, the lip liner stains my clothes and the mistakes stay for almost 2 days. The product is not at all moisturising on the lips, so it is essential to hydrate your lips before application. Overall, it is a great product. What makes you think is a bright red lip stain, is in fact an intense poppy red. I was surprised at how easy this was to use and how the color build up into this deep red shade. As it wore down it looked fine too and I had to use a hardcore make up remover to get this off. A perfect lip product if you want to wear a lip color to the beach as it is 100% waterproof. It does dry out your lips though, but since hardly anything breaks this up, applying balm on top is no biggy.Tja, was soll ich sagen: Es ist wahre Liebe! Below you can see the two colors applied to my lips. On the right side I applied 050 and on the left side I applied 060. The finish of the lip liner is matte and it gives a very long-lasting stain on your lips. It will fade after eating and drinking all day long, but the hint of color will still be visible on your lips. Am liebsten hätte ich gleich alle vier Farben des Catrice Aqua Ink-In-Gloss Lip Stains mitgenommen, aber das wäre doch etwas ausufernd für einen Test geworden. You often hear (read) me talk about Essence Cosmetics. And you’ll also have heard of it’s big sister Catrice. Both of those brand are from the same company Cosnova. I’ve been using their products for many years and I’ve seen relooks of these 2 brands several times. It’s crazy how they can come up with such nice concepts for such affordable prices. Lately I’ve noticed a lot of great new lip products from Catrice. Today, I’ll talk about the Aqua Ink Lipliner.
