All of our refurbished monitors are quality checked against full spectrum colour backgrounds to identify any pressure marks, blemishes, scratches, screen burn or dead pixels. The 'Response Time Normal' setting was the fastest; the 'Fast' setting wasn't any faster and added a lot of bothersome overshoot (visible as an inverse ghosting following moving objects), so it's not recommended. While its somewhat low contrast stops it from reproducing darker colors, its good coverage of standard gamuts allows it to reproduce the great majority of the colors in the standard RGB volume. Unlike our other photographs, this picture wasn't taken under a controlled environment, so do not draw conclusions from it. Most ultra-wide monitors require huge, protruding legs, but the U3417W nails it with an unobtrusive, low-profile stand.
