About this deal

I would suggest you read Cinderella trilogy before starting this book as this may contain some serious spoilers... The tyrant triple threat strikes again. It was so freaking good. I can’t believe I’m rooting for them. And love them. I read these two stories individually when they released in January and March earlier this year and once again earlier this month as a boxset. Nothing changed for me in how I felt about the storyline and its unfolding so I’m not going to re-write my thoughts. I’ll just simply copy/paste for your convenience.

Sully, Scout, and Sparrow have been revealed, and Landry now realizes they are not Ford Mann, but rather the Mannford triplets. The trio has decided that Landry is theirs, but will they be able to share or will this cause the brother to have a falling out? We've all seen how well things worked out for these three in Cinderella Skyscraper when they decided something was theirs... Reverse harem being one of my most read themes of dark romance, I expected these two books to be good but I honestly caught no head or tail. I couldn’t feel the chemistry between them and it felt too draggy to read sometimes although the book itself was not long. They were supposed to be a family but I was more confused about their family dynamics then their actual connection. My heart absolutely broke for laundry. What she went through was so bad and I just wanted to hug but the woman was so strong. Looking at her, with all that sass, you can't ever tell that she had been a victim. Her strength made me love her so much and I am happy to read the ending for these amazing characters!

Roles are reversed as this exciting and intense story developed and evolves. Sully, Sparrow, and Scout are three terrifying twisted kinky brothers, yet, with Landry and Della they redeem themselves in ways I never imagined. Triple Threat is a story of deception, desperation and obsession. It would appeal to readers who enjoy Dark Romance. STOP, if you have not read the Skyscraper Cinderella trilogy, but have plans to meet Winston Constantine and Ash Elliott, do not proceed. This story gives away plot twist in books 2 & 3🚨

Scout, Sully, and Sparrow are mandated to work as a team to collect intel on a target Bryant Morelli, their Uncle, intends to sabotage. Though it’s not a Constantine family, it will directly effect a Constantine acquisition. Alexander Croft is the CEO of Croft, a gaming company in talks with Halcyon Corp. and as a further bonus, Alexander is trying to marry his daughter off to Ty Constantine. He may not be ‘one of those Constantine’s’ but he is the son of Lane’s sister Elise. Making him well aligned. Starting off with the first book, Triple Threat, we are introduced to media heiress Landry Croft. Having grown up surrounded by wealth and privilege, Landry has been groomed to be everything her dad demands her to be. Though nothing is what it seems, behind the perfect facade that’s supposed to be her life, darkness lurks filled with secrets and nightmares. Landry is a pretty doll living in a golden cage, but she has a plan to leave her life once and for all. Yet, she what wasn’t expecting for her plans to take a different turn the minute she meets, Ford Mann. He is everywhere she goes, and although she senses something off about him, Landry can’t help but to trust him fully. The attraction is there and the more time she spends with him, the more she yearns for her live to be different. It would take for her life to be at stake for her to truly find out what Ford has been keeping from her all along.I liked the overall story, but there were things that I wasn’t fully satisfied with. I felt for characters who had such a large presence in the Cinderella trilogy, the triplets were tamed too much. I get it about giving characters redemption, but it could happen without stripping the core that made me love them in the first place. Aside from that, I really liked this book. I liked that Win and Ash were into some kinky things. I liked that despite thinking Winston was a bit of a perv, Ash was into the kink. Though she did have conflicting feelings, they were more about the fact that she liked the things Win did to her or had her do and not that she was feeling forced or anything like that. I also really loved the storyline and I wish it wasn’t a cliffhanger. Now I can’t wait for the next book.

DISCLAIMER: I WOULD SUGGEST READING CINDERELLA TRILOGY BY K WEBSTER BEFORE READING THIS! I SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT. As brothers there was a level of incestuous behaviour that was a bit 🤧, which is why I was ultimately pulling for her to end up with one. Why are you happy to share her… all of their bodies touching whilst making love to her… sorry but it’s really not hot when you deep it 😭 OMG. I swear this duet is one of the best duets by this author. I have been going crazy for these triplets ever since I read them in the Cinderella trilogy but nothing could have prepared me for the marvelous way K. Webster has written them in their books. This is the first book in a duet and I am dying for Death Wish already. You can see the cliffhanger coming but it still killed me. Triple Threat is hot but not as steamy as I would expect from this author so hopefully we get more in the sequel! um its not bad just very disappointing. i had such high expectations for this duet because i actually really liked the cinderella trilogy and i loved the triplets. now if you haven't read the cinderella trilogy, you won't understand this whole book since this duet is a spin-off.

Customer reviews

We read all dark forms of romance & erotica, including but not limited to Dark, Gothic, BDSM & Taboo, as well as Menage, Reverse Harem & Romantic Suspense with a Dark Tone. I really enjoyed this book and the way the brothers each dove into Landry’s life in different ways. It was very original and I liked them despite the fact that they are not good guys. They make very likable villains. I also liked the fact that they were still villains or anti-hero’s since they were so bad in Skyscraper Cinderella it wouldn’t have been believable for them to just change into Hero’s in this book. The cliffhanger is a good one and I can’t wait to read more. Scout goes to Croft's company, Sully is teaching sign language to Landry little sister, Della (child from hell) and Sparrow is in college with her. Webster’s Cinderella Trilogy completely captivated me, so I was eager to read her Deception Duet and it exceeded my expectations. This explosive dark romance was filled with secrets, steamy scenes, along with twists and turns to keep you reading until the very end! I admired Landry so much. She’s so loyal and protective. She is selfless and puts herself second to her sister, Della.
