About this deal

First of all, I was not expecting the amnesia plot and I wasn't that upset about it. I've never read a story where the character had gotten amnesia so I was intrigued and open-minded. I didn't so much mind the fact that she was with Silas's brother, because the girl's got amnesia, she doesn't know better. Plus, her mind went with someone the most similar to Silas. The part that felt extremely out of character though, was Silas being with another woman all while obsessively looking for his "soulmate". To me, it cheapened his passion for her and made it feel like he wasn't as into her and he kept stating. I know it's probably petty of me to think, but part of me hoped he'd stay celibate during their years apart, it would have made their relationship look much stronger to me, especially since he was again, searching for her this entire time. Fast forward two years and Leia and Adrian meet again. Since she had been hurt, Leia has set boundaries in her relationship with Adrian who reluctantly agrees. Dr. Grant” is the second novel of the “Off Limits” series of novels by Catharina Maura. It tells the beautiful romance story of Amara the Ph.D. student and Noah that just qualified as a doctor. After living in the Netherlands for many years, Mr. Maura her husband was transferred to Singapore and then Hong Kong, where she currently makes her home. You're a ray of sunshine, a ray of light, a ray of hope in an otherwise dark, bleak world. You're enough to illuminate my path, yet I always want more."

After living in Holland for several decades, she moved to Hong King and Singapore but ultimate settle in the former.

Publication Order of The Windsors Books

The whole Windsors series, Forever After All, Professor Astor, and Bittersweet Memories are narrated in duet style, whereby all of a character's lines are read by the same narrator, regardless of the chapter's point of view. Narrators include Sebastian York, Joe Arden, CJ Bloom, and Maxine Mitchell amongst others. Like many authors, Catharina Maura began writing when she was very little. In fact, aged just ten, she used to tell her friends and family that she wanted to grow up and become an author. I also found myself a bit bored during the second half of the book, and the whole brother being in love with Alanna storyline was super annoying to me. I wished that the brother kept to his previous words about using Alanna, because I was so frustrated that the problem was a love triangle instead of her simply having amnesia. I think that's also just me hating on love triangles, so it's definitely a personal preference thing lol. We see Alanna and Silas first meet when they’re both teenagers, after his father’s recent death Silas becomes homeless and living in a shelter. He and Alanna become fast friends and we see them really connect over the next few years. When Alanna’s father ends up passing away as well and insurance fraud comes into play, she finds herself moving into the shelter too. I loved seeing Alanna and Silas fall for one another, their friendship and then romance was so sweet to see and I just believed in their connection right away. When Alanna ends up getting into a car accident and losing her memories, the story definitely takes a turn! Over the years, many of her relatives have become a blend of Javanese, Afro Surinamese, and Indo Surinamese, even though at best she is of Indian descent.

However, Catharina Maura still gets surprised every single time one of the readers of her novels reaches out to declare that they love her books. She currently makes her home in Hong Kong, even though she has lived in Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. Ethnically, she is Surinamese even though if you would like to be more specific, she is Indo-Surinamese. Her grandparents had moved from India to Suriname under the guise of indentured labor in the 1800s.At the opening of the story, Adrian has just met a distraught Leia in a bar and decided to engage in some role play which ends in an awesome night that none of them have ever had. When they begin working for their family businesses, competing on a larger scale than ever before, he decides he wants it all with her — and what Zane Windsor wants, he gets. I was really not ready for this novella to end; I needed so much more but I guess that will have to wait until the full-length novel. I didn't waste enough of my time to find out whether they get together when she's 18... but I don't need to read it to know what's going to happen.
