About this deal

To reduce brushstrokes from any of these formulas, use a soft bristled brush and then sand between coats. To do this, apply the Mod Podge and let it dry an hour. Then use #0000 steel wood and lightly sand the entire surface. Do this between every coat. After the final coat, sand and then spray a clear acrylic sealer to finish. That should cover it for the Mod Podge formula guide! I want to let you know, as a final word, that ALL Mod Podge is self-sealing. You don’t haveto hit with acrylic sealer. I sometimes recommend it, but that is only for added durability beyond what you already get with the formulas above. Hi Janet! I wouldn't use Mod Podge for this, although people have. I'd use resin personally. But what you really should do is join our Facebook group because you''ll find lots of answers: https://www.facebook.com/groups/craftywithmodpodge Result: yes, it basically does everything in a spray. You can brush it on too! Comes in a Gloss or Matte finish.

Mod Podge Super Gloss: 8oz From 10.00 GBP | The Works

Do you ever use Mod Podge Gloss? What for? Yes I do. I use it for glass projects especially, because glass is shiny, and I like my finish to match the surface. Can I use Mod Podge as a sealant for a 3x7 foot copper headboard? I want to maintain the integrity of the patina as well as the natural copper. I also use it when I’m in the mood for shiny. Sometimes a project calls for that, like a Halloween project or wall art. I let how I’m feeling that day dictate the finish! This formula is a must for any project you need to use fabric. No matter the project, the best part about this one is that you can prepare fabric for crafting ahead of time by lightly brushing on and allowing to dry before cutting. It eliminates fraying. So if you want to use fabric for decoupaging to surfaces and for decoupaging things onto fabric use this one. Dishwasher Safe Mod Podge Mod Podge is not food safe but is non-toxic.What’s the difference?Food safe requires an FDA approval.Non-toxic means if it gets eaten accidentally it isn’t going to kill you. That said, don’t use on a surface where food will be put on it. GLOSSY, CRYSTAL CLEAR FINISH - When dry, this easy-to-use formula dries to a glossy, clear finish that will make your arts and crafts glisten One last thing… I mentioned a couple of times in my video that the gloss smells funny. I am not the world's best smeller and it definitely has an odor, even a day later. After a few days it wears off, but it could be off putting for some makers. I have just begun my first ever diamond mosaic art and would like to know when to take the plastic off Mod Podge is a brand of glue manufactured by Plaid Enterprises, Inc.It’s made with PVA or polyvinyl acetate, which is basically the base for white glue. It can be used as glue, but aside from being an adhesive, Plaid Craft Mod Podge can also be used as an alternative to varnish. Is Mod Podge A Glue? Hi when I seal my dp with mod podge can I still roll it up in a tube. It’s a surprise present for someone or do you advise not to seal it thank you x To finish, apply a second coat of Mod Podge® and apply it beginning in the middle and gently brushing out to the edges. I have been DP’ing for over 5 years. None of mine have been sealed. I frame (most) under glass. There has been no movement of diamonds or loss of shine.
