Continue walking until you reach the best viewpoint, which is right in front of the falls, near the edge of the mossy cliffs. Considered to be less known than some others on this list, it’s a great place to picnic and find a little tranquility among blooming rhododendrons. If the hike was just up to this waterfall, we wouldn’t have been terribly disappointed. Just after the bridge you’ll get your first view of the spectacular 320 foot drop of Comet Falls.
