About this deal

Don't waste money on a baby carrier or baby sling that's uncomfortable, tricky to get on and off or won’t support your baby.

It allows optimum positioning for baby, and has been deemed by the IHDI as being a “hip-healthy” product.

We test this by using a 15kg test dummy and jolting it up and down to replicate movement by the baby and parent. However, it only comes in just two shades of grey, while the brand's Baby Wrap has a wider choice of colours.

The material is soft yet strong and it supported my 13kg son comfortably without causing me any discomfort. I think with most maternity clothing has a baggy front to fit growing bumps, then can’t be worn after. This was very comfortable to wear as it felt secure and I could move around house with Leila close to me and also was ideal to use on our daily walks. Easy to pop in the change bag without taking up additional unwanted space meaning you don’t have to choose between your morning snack and a change of top or the carrier.I also loved how soft it was – I didn’t have to worry about any straps, Velcro or anything else rubbing against her. Catia: This wrap did help me a lot, my son is a baby that wants to be held all the time, so this was a god send. It can support babies between 5lbs – 33lbs, which means it’s suitable for newborns through to toddlers. We check how easy it is to get the sling or carrier on or off, when wearing both on your front and on your back.

You can also use it to breast feed whilst remaining covered up and keeping your baby held in the right position for feeding. This could have been because she’s super-wriggly and strong, and as I was using a sling for the first time, I wasn’t very confident about putting her in it. However, Shab’s, the owner of Amawrap is amazing and has made a simple to follow YouTube video to show how to tie it correctly and she really does make it easy.

The tricky part was getting Matilda out of it, as she was so snug against me – once she was out and put down safely, it was easy to untie the sling. Whilst using the Amawrap with the 3 month old she felt very comfortable and it was an asset to help her go to sleep!
