The movement sensor is a large plastic pad which sits under the baby’s mattress, monitoring the slightest shift in their movement. If no movement is detected for 20 seconds, the pad activates an alarm.

Cons

Press either UP or DOWN button on the Parent Unit (underneath the screen) until you see the “Tic Function (Pendulum), Sound Function (Speaking face), Movement Function (3 wavy lines) Icons flashing in the top right hand of the Parent Unit screen Hollow Framed Mattresses are mainly found in the US, they contain a number of poles that are fitted together with a tight cover fitted. As a result of there being nothing inside the mattress (i.e. hollow), no movement is transferred down to the Movement Sensor Pad. As a result, the monitor may false alarm indicating that baby's movements are not being detected by the Sensor Pad. Once connection has been made, the "Green Successful Pairing Icon" will show on the screen & the menu will show the OK Paired Icon: All the components (screen, camera, sensor pad) are sleek in appearance and wouldn’t look out of place in any home. The touchscreen function eliminates the need for ugly push buttons. Unfortunately, it is not possible for our technical team to test the Movement Sensor Pad with every type or brand of mattress available within the UK and Ireland.

Please Note – if you do not wish to hear the movement TIC through the Parent Unit indicating that baby's movements are being detected do not highlight the Tic Function (Pendulum) Icon After 20 seconds a series of continuous beeps (The Main Alarm) will sound from the Nursery/Camera Unit & Parent Unit. You can switch the viewing camera by using the View Mode button on your Parent Unit. Just select the Nursery Unit 2.Place your hand on the mattress and after a few seconds the alarm will cease as the Sensor Pad will have detected your movement If your Sensor Pad becomes unpaired / disconnected from your Parent Unit oryou are replacing the Sensor Pad, please follow the steps below to pair / reconnect them.
