About this deal

This 30007 countersink assortment is new, however years ago (when we thought replacements were available) we sold the 1.

When you remove spring bars with a pen-shaped spring bar tool, you have nothing to compress the spring bar with, which means you have to pull it out instead via the strap or bracelet. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Comforting to hear that the 6825 can handle CW bracelets easily, they also managed one of my Seikos but it was not as easy as I thought. I just picked up a Speedmaster and while I can get the bracelet off the Speedmaster with a spring bar tool - 6767 I would like a solution like the 7825.

The 7825 will not get a grip on the spring bar and I am afraid I may damage the tips if I try again.Come join the discussion about watch collections, displays, watch winders, accessories, classifieds, and more! Just found this Bergeon Stem Cutter, unfortunately like so many watch tools this item is no longer available. Any thin tip tool works, just takes practice and I agree with the above poster, use tape on the lugs to keep from scratching them.

Some prefer to used the original blades with their Stainless Steel Screwdrivers when working with older watches that do not have stainless steel screw. They and the Bergeon are usually listed for Rolex, but they certainly don't work for the Omega that I have. I have been watching this topic with interest as the shared experiences are very helpful, thank you. Most watches use spring bars to keep the bracelet or strap in place and to remove the spring bars, you need a good tool. There was a thread a while back that might be useful too since several of us were discussing this very issue: viewtopic. Most spring bar tools are ” pen-shaped”, with which you remove one side of the spring bar at a time.

Tweezers: DAUERHAFT V Shape Tweezers Spring Bar Tweezers Blue, for Watch Repairing and Watch Band Removing, for Watchmakers and Watch Repairing Workers https://www.It's actually served me well, but I would like to point out the tweezers type makes it a bit easier to fit the second endlink on the watch without having to remove one bracelet end from the clasp as it provides more space for the tool to wrap around the bracelet. I have finally managed to source a bracelet for my Mk2 Trident so it's time to seriously update my bracelet toolkit. I had a good look round various forums for experience of the Horofix tool and it is not in the same class as the Bergeon 7825. Like I say, the 6767 on rubber and NATOs is a minute job, and those bars are longer, Wondering if I'd have had more joy with those bars instead of the shorter bracelet ones. Makes no sense that it's just so easy to remove the straps, but the 6767 tool won't budge bracelet and neither will this.
