About this deal

Pegasus is home to many galaxy clusters. The most famous is probably Stephan’s Quintet, a favorite target among astrophotographers. This tight gathering of five galaxies has a magnitude of 13.6. The largest and brightest, NGC 7320, has a small redshift compared to the other four, revealing that it is probably not a physical member of the group and just a line-of-sight coincidence. First, I loved to see Molly and Levi still involved and participating. The siblings decide to sell the inn, which was always the end goal. Molly and Adam have plans to go to Italy, Levi is marrying Mia and then moving to CA, and Grace will stay in town and work on expanding her business. Everything seems to be on target for their goals. To consider just a couple of examples: the word ‘gleaner’ (‘And sometimes like a gleaner thou dost keep…’) would have had a more urgent resonance in 1819 when Keats wrote the poem, since gleaning (gathering up leftover grain after the harvest) had been made illegal in Britain the year before. Wyatt and Grace are two characters that are easy to like and easy to root for. I enjoyed them together and apart. Wyatt is cautious and conflicted and his story is more complex. His search for closure brings him close to Grace who struggles with some of her own demons. The emotions were real and even though I don't personally struggle with the same things Wyatt and Grace did, I connected with the way the characters were feeling. That's exactly what I want as a reader.

When a mysterious man turns up at Grace’s family-run inn, there's instant attraction. But she’s already got a lot on her plate: running the Bluebell Inn by herself now that her siblings and co-owners have moved on, getting her new store Blue Ridge Outfitters off the ground, and coping with a childhood event she’d thought was long past. Mahon crafts a language, as Vona Groarke writes, that “shimmies between instruction and evocation”, a poetry that can be what Andrew Jamison calls “lamentation, lambasting and love poem all at once”. Autumn Skies is full of such pithy and perceptive descriptions. Ironies I read this book in one sitting. I just didn’t want to put it down, didn’t want to leave the wonderful world Denise Hunter brings to life. Now I just want to reread it again. I loved everything about this book. The characters, the heartbreaking story, the now familiar setting, the usual banter between the Bennett siblings, but I really, really loved the romance in this one.Perhaps the story sounds a little bit heavy, as I have described it? But it really isn’t. Ms. Hunter has had this way of weaving a little bit of mystery in each one of these Bluebell Inn stories, which has actually been really fun. Having both Grace and Wyatt moving through past trauma, while also on a hunt for something, gave a lot of depth to each of the as characters and to the beginnings of their relationship. Both are very likable. Of course, I also love the way Grace interacts with Molly and Levi, her siblings. They have such a great relationship and I particularly loved the way Molly teased with Grace about how handsome Wyatt was and how protective Levi was of his youngest sister. The Leonids produce an average of 10 to 15 meteors per hour at their peak. About once every 33 years, the Leonids brings a great meteor storm can occur with hundreds and hundreds of meteors per hour. This peak last occurred in 2001. The Leonids are produced by dust left behind by comet Tempel-Tuttle. The Leonids shower runs annually from November 6-30 and will peak on the night of the 17th and the morning of the 18th. This year, the last quarter Moon will wash out all but the brighter meteors, but the Leonids can be unpredictable, so there’s always a good chance for a good show. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Leo but can appear anywhere in the sky. Autumn Skies, a collection of 30 brief essays by 30 writers responding to a chosen Mahon poem, was originally intended to celebrate the occasion of the poet’s 80th birthday, but serves now as a memorial tribute.

Let me just say this was my favorite book in the Bluebell Inn series. As much as I loved Adam from the first book, “Lake Season”, Wyatt gives him a bit of competition in my eyes. The are vastly different with Wyatt being the alpha male. He is strong, fit, and a little brooding. He is mysterious and serious. The Double Cluster is another favorite celestial target during autumn months as it rides high in the sky and appears exactly like its name—two-star clusters side by side. Also known as H and Chi Persei (NGC 869 and NGC 884), it is an open cluster located 7600 light-years away in the constellation Perseus and has apparent magnitudes of 3.7/3.8. To find the Double Cluster, use binoculars and look roughly halfway between the constellations Cassiopeia and Perseus. From a dark sky, it will appear as a visible smudge in the sky. A telescope will reveal an impressive view of two sparkling clusters filled with stars, including several supergiant suns.

Grace has opened her own business, Blue Ridge Outfitters, an outdoor adventure rental shop. In addition, she helps run the inn with her siblings. It was at this inn that she meets Wyatt. I'm still in love with you, I want to see you dance again. Because I'm still in love with you on this harvest moon." — Neil Young Probably the most famous poem about the autumn season in all of English literature, Keats’s ‘To Autumn’ is also one of the finest autumn poems in the language. Wyatt and Grace are both working to lose the demons of their past in the form of childhood traumas. Wyatt, having been recently injured in the line of duty, finds himself at Bluebell Inn to help him face his childhood trauma and to deal with the repercussions.

About Us

The plot was unique and although it held a bit of tragedy, the bonding that occurred because of it made for a strong storyline. There was also a good bit of humor. Anytime an author can combine serious subjects with witty banter during the process it's a win for the reader. Hunter pulled that off perfectly! The Great Square of Pegasus can look like a huge diamond. Think of it as a giant baseball diamond rising during playoffs month in the east after dark. Asterisms, such as the Great Square, are groups of stars that aren’t labeled as constellations but are easy to recognize. Curiously, the constellation Pegasus only represents the top half of the horse. In some depictions, the horse is shown rising out of the water. Viewed best in autumn, turn your eyes to the east as the night falls, and see the winged horse rising high up in the sky.” Thank you, Prateek! Using Pegasus to find the Andromeda Galaxy Each of these siblings has a special place in my heart and I hope to see how they are doing in the future. Especially Grace as she became my favorite. She's my favorite because of her determination to make things happen for her future. I am a huge fan of the Bluebell Inn Romance Series and of course reading this third book is like visiting old friends - the Bennet siblings’ stories from book 1 and 2 all had a little bit of romance, mystery and small town drama and excitement - all with a feel good happy ending.
