My sister, Gayathri has been my constant support and partner. When I was in grade 12, I weighed 90 kgs at a height of 5 ft 4 inches!!!! A confrontation with my father led me to actually start running. Since then, I have attempted to work out but I have never succeeded in being consistent with my efforts for more than 2 months at a go. The same goes for my sister. We have often given into crash diets and high tempo but irregular physical activities. We have only focused on looking good for a certain occasion, for example our weddings, getting into a new college or an upcoming vacation. Don’t try to do too much too soon – start small and gradually increase the intensity and complexity of your workouts as you get stronger.
