About this deal

Synopsis: While under the care of one the Demon Slayer Corps' Hashira, Shinobu, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Nezuko have recovered. They have even learned a new and powerful technique—Total Concentration! They'll need this new power and all their skill on their next Demon-hunting mission aboard the mysterious Infinity Train as it takes them into the dreams of Demons! Demon Slayer has lots of scary imagery, since it's about. And, even some of the situations the characters are in can frighten some viewers, such as the main character's family being slaughtered by the hands of a demon lord. I'm pretty sure there is some alcohol references, but I'm not sure. There is a lot of blood and a little bit of gore, usually when they chop off a demon's head. There is a few characters (Zenitsu, Tengen) who love women a lot but don't say anything too explicit. There is also a girl who wears something revealing (Mitsuri), but she is not sexualized. Demon Slayer has some good morals, such as moving on and never giving up. Unlike some anime, this has a good message! Synopsis: Tanjiro and Tomioka confront Akaza, the Upper-Rank 3 demon. Against Akaza's overwhelming strength, the two find themselves unable to do anything but defend themselves. With the situation looking grim, Tanjiro awakens to the Transparent World his father once told him about. Will this new knowledge allow Tanjiro to turn the tables and go on the offensive against Akaza? This was pretty cool to read the manga after binging the anime! (A slow binge, but still. LOL!) I found the first two chapters slower then I recalled in the anime, but I still had the same strong feelings of not liking Giyu because of what he says to Tanjiro. I realize he is ultimately helping him, but I still didn't like it. LOL!

Demon Slayer Manga | Waterstones

Tanjiro, the protagonist of the series, is a character driven by love for his family and a strong sense of justice. After the tragic loss of his family and the transformation of his sister into a demon, he becomes a demon slayer. Tanjiro's story is the heart of the manga series, as he seeks to avenge his family and find a cure for his sister. But the world and story as a whole are amazing, and the art is clean, and beautiful on the box set, and includes a lot of bonuses that any fan of the series would not doubt enjoy. One thing that I didn't get in the anime is the opening thread that Tanjiro sees. I understand what it does, but I didn't get HOW he suddenly got this ability. I didn't realize that it's because he can SMELL the thread! :o :o :o That was cleared up in the manga and really appreciated that because I just sort of thought it "appeared" because "it just does" when Tanjiro uses concentration breathing. I watch it with my 8 year old son. He is absolutely obsessed with it. He’s 8 but we haven’t sheltered him from much at all growing up. He watched Deadpool (over and over) at age 6 with no issues. The story of Demon Slayer takes place in a world where demons roam and terrorize humans. The main characters are demon hunters, individuals who fight to protect humans from demons and to avenge loved ones they have lost. The protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado, is a teenager who lost his family except for his younger sister, Nezuko, who was turned into a demon. He sets out on a quest to find a way to heal her and return her to her human form.If you've missed the hype surrounding this series (one of the highest revenue properties on the planet over the past couple years), let me fill you in a bit. The ending was also very satisfying. many people die in this manga but the way it shows their happiness after they die really made me cry and happy for them. Giyu heads north to an area where a band of hunters was killed. He and the Insect Hashira meet Yae, the daughter of a slain hunter, who believes a bear killed her father, but the truth is harder to face. Kyojuro also receives his newest assignment and hopes completing it will prove he's worthy of the title Flame Hashira, which his father abandoned. An explosive battle unfolds as Kyojuro takes on a demon of the Twelve Kizuki who holds a grudge against Kyojuro's father. so i will admit most people would say this is 14+ but while i do agree with that at my age of 12 the story quite apeals and it has great role models so for all the good there is the bad, the tons of violence but trust your instincts so you decide but take this to heart OK, technically I didn't read the entire manga. I only started reading it after the entertainment district season aired and I didn't know what to do with the rest of my life lol.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Vol. 1: Cruelty: Volume 1

In Taisho-era Japan, kindhearted Tanjiro Kamado makes a living selling charcoal. But his peaceful life is shattered when a demon slaughters his entire family. His little sister Nezuko is the only survivor, but she has been transformed into a demon herself! Tanjiro sets out on a dangerous journey to find a way to return his sister to normal and destroy the demon who ruined his life. After much hesitation, I let my 11 year old daughter watch this. She loves it! It does get quite violent and even she flinches sometimes, so if your child is a bit jumpy or sensitive to things like blood, murder ect. then I would not recommend . Overall, it does have some very positive messages and lots of sibling love. Now to talk about the first episode. Adult supervision recommended, especially if your child has nightmares about their parents or family being murdered. My daughter honestly didn’t get bothered much by it, but some others may have. It also does have some swearing here and there, but nothing too bad from what I’ve seen. I know this review is getting long so let’s wrap it up. My daughter really liked it, and the only way to really judge it is by watching it yourself. Not exactly family friendly, but some may really enjoy it. It’s based on what type of things your kid can and can’t handle. In Demon Slayer, we follow our mc Tanjiro, whose family is one day murdered by a demon. The only survivor is his younger sister Nezuko- except she is turning into a demon! Determined to save his sister and avenge his family, Tanjiro begins training to become a demon slayer. And the story goes on from there...

Info Demon Slayer Manga

The series as a whole is quite charming and engaging and would be great for teens around the ages of 13-16. Though of course, it can be enjoyed by any age, I wouldn't recommend it for younger children as there is a lot of violence and death that they might find disturbing. With the movie and the first season now out, reading the manga is the way to go for fans who wanted to know and binge about this world and Tanjirou's journey, yet I may say that the anime is way better. The way they have handled the storyboards is just an eye pleaser. That is just my opinion though. Yet both media (written and animated) are worth it. It is just a matter therefore of personal choice whether or not you want to collect these volumes.
