About this deal

These are the Kinu M47 grinder settings that I recommend you use as a starting point when dialing in a new coffee. The M47 Simplicity is made of high quality stainless steel. The solid ABS parts are guaranteed BPA free (grinding container, thumb wedge and crank handle). The internal mechanism is also made of stainless steel.

One last point of attention should be the grind consistency for very coarse grinds. Grind consistency gets slightly worse the coarser you grind. This, however, is true for all burr grinders to some degree. Even with the best equipment it’s near impossible to break two similar beans down into exactly the same size particles. Larger particles will be ground down, but particles that are smaller (so called fines) have a better chance of bypassing the burrs partially. A bad grind, on the other hand, can result in an uneven extraction that leaves your espresso tasting sour or bitter. Adjustment Increments – Small adjustments mean you can really dial-in the best espresso and pour-over every coffee for the best results. Limited to 1991 units worldwide, your Titan will come with a certificate showing its unique number, X of 1991.Kinu M47 manual grinders will become your best allies for coffee brewing at home and doing it like a pro. Types of Kinu grinders The plastic construction brings down the price, making the ability to grind with a quality grinder more accessible. It can also make it difficult to get a good crema - that delicious, velvety layer of foam that sits on top of a perfectly made espresso. The adjustment is micro-stepped for a finer or coarser grind with every turn of the dial and its key difference in the design is that The Phoenix uses a silicone grip to hold it secure when grinding instead of a thumb stopper. In short, this product offers the best price-quality balance being the first option for beginners and a safe choice for experts. M47 Simplicity Coffee must be "Finely" ground. Since espresso is made under heat, having coarse coffee grounds would limit the pressure on the ground coffee and create a poorly extracted shot.•

The world of specialty coffee is full of standards and status quo. Some are instrumental to our progress and Kinu products are known for their quality. They routinely get high marks in customer satisfaction and overall durability. The first thing to do is locate the grind dial on the top of the grinder. To change the grind setting, you just follow these steps:

The First Of Its Name

Personally, I prefer the pour overs produced by the Comandante C40 grinder. Both grinders produce delicious filter coffee, but for me, the C40 has something a little extra in the cup. Kinu M47 Models The Kinu M47 Simplicity Grinder is at the highest-end of experience in portable, manual coffee hand-grinders. F eaturing extraordinary precision and reliability in producing the expected grind size ideal for brewing espresso and can comfortably grind for filter style coffee time and time again. By providing Authority to Leave you agree that the parcel is deemed to have been received when left at your premises. First times can be intimidating, however, the Kinu M47 grinders have a step-less and precise grind adjustment system that makes them very practical and easy to use. During the actual grinding, you’ll find that it takes very little effort to keep the handle moving. Even a particularly tough bean isn’t too much of an issue. The thumb stop near the top of the grinder makes sure that you’ll have a good grip on the grinder. No death grip required.

A good grind will result in consistent, uniform coffee grounds that are fine enough to extract all the flavors and aromas from the coffee bean. The handle and body of the grinder should be sturdy and up to the task of manually asserting torque. Stress is part of the game, so if the grinder's design can't handle the stress of grinding coffee beans in the long term, it isn't worth your time.•
