About this deal

Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this army to a brand new player. I’m not going to lie: this list is going to be fighting an uphill battle. Until you get the hang of positioning and how to really dissect an opponent’s army it’s gonna be rough. But it’s thematic and rewarding to play! If you’re up for a challenge then have at it!

Did you know you can get all of the latest news delivered right to you by signing up for our newsletter? You might even be among the first to hear about the next Combat Patrol set, which we’ll be showing off in just one week’s time… Here’s the updated value breakdown of the four new Warhammer 40k Boarding Patrols for Dark Eldar, Eldar, Grey Knights, and Necrons! The greatest strength of Combat Patrol: Aeldari is its flexibility. Assemble your infantry as Storm Guardians and give the Wraithlord a ghostglaive to punch right through fortified enemy lines, or muster a squad of Guardian Defenders with a mobile Heavy Weapons Platform to hold the ground claimed by your blistering bikers. Global prices have been estimated from similar-priced products. Boarding Patrol: Death Guard – Price Value & Savings SummaryCan’t say I’m an expert on how Drukhari play – I still call them Dark Eldar to this day – but I will give as good an analysis that I can. This box does fall under the 500 point Boarding Actions list threshold by 130 points – and though the Wyches provide a lot of weapon options, you’ll never have enough to get there. I’d recommend another unit of Incubi to bring the pain in close combat, unless you want to overpower your foe with firepower, bring another unit of Wyches or Kabalites.

Here’s everything in the box, painted up by Games Workshop’s ‘Eavy Metal team and professionally photographed – as if you didn’t need tempting more. Chaos Space Marines are right at home on the claustrophobic corridors of a space hulk, and we’re not even convinced the Thousand Sons register much of the weirdness going on given the forces they tamper with. This Boarding Patrol pairs two Chaos Spawn with 20 Rubric Marines, bringing an impressive number of bodies and a pair of pskyers onto the board while the Spawn make a right mess of anything they encounter. This is quite the sweet deal if you want to listen to podcasts or books! Especially if you’re traveling, this is perfect for helping pass the time. Here’s everything you get even at the cheaper price: Here are all the details for the new Warhammer 40k Combat patrols, along with Farsight and Snikrot releases with the pricing and links! This one is strange because a lot of the value comes from the Plague Marines, and considering the reinforcements box is so expensive for three minis; it’s hard to say. While a case of the sniffles or festering pustules are not the kind of blessings you’d want to receive from Nurgle, your bank balance will definitely appreciate these savings at almost 50% off the total models if bought individually. The savings are practically on par with Boarding Patrol: Chaos Space Marines – and that had Abaddon the Despoiler in it. Though comparatively, Boarding Patrol: Death Guard has less models in it, the infantry and elite units have much higher points value (and general play value) than the 20 cultists in the Chaos box. Boarding Patrol: Death Guard – Contents

Next steps for this one? I’d grab the Boarding Patrol box for the Chaos Space Marines and tact in those 630 points right off the bat. That will bring you up to 1375 + wargear. Plus, it will give you some much needed troop support. If you want to go up to a full 2000 point army you’ve got room to work with. Maybe a Land Raider to ferry your units and deliver a payload of Possessed to your enemy’s face? Currently, while we know the prices for most of the boxes, we’ll also have all of the new boxes listed, value-wise, for you below! One more thing to note, these are all valued with the updated 2023 GW pricing. I don’t know if this would be a super effective army to be clear — but you’ve got some hammer units with the Terminators, Possessed, the Daemon Prince, and Abaddon. The Heldrake can cause problems. Plus you’ve got some boots for objective holding. It’s a start and needs to be refined for your playstyle but it can work.

New 40k Farsight, Snikrot & Boarding Patrols Pricing CONFIRMED!

We’re at the lower end of the savings we’ve seen in the Boarding Patrol series so far – and the Aussies are getting particularly hard-done-by with this set. Boarding Patrol: Drukhari – Contents Towering over its allies, the Wraithlord is both unstoppable force and immovable object. These powerful wraithbone constructs can be configured for ranged or melee combat, plugging gaps in your battleline and hitting the enemy where it hurts most. With 26 miniatures – the vast majority of which are recent releases – the Aeldari Boarding Patrol will have caught the eye of many collectors. As with the other Arks of Omen books, this is no different with lore advances along with some new rules for gameplay and factions. Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire
