About this deal

The NVIDIA Tesla V100 accelerator is the world’s highest performing parallel processor, designed to power the most computationally intensive HPC, AI, and graphics workloads. By using the apparatus and datasets, you will be able to proceed with the 3D reconstruction from 2D datasets. The latest DGX-1 multi-system clusters use a network based on a fat tree topology providing well-routed, predictable, contention-free communication from each system to every other system (see Figure 6). A fat tree is a tree-structured network topology with systems at the leaves that connect up through multiple switch levels to a central top-level switch. Each level in a fat tree has the same number of links providing equal bandwidth. The fat tree topology ensures the highest communication bisection bandwidth and lowest latency for all-to-all or all-gather type collectives that are common in computational and deep learning applications. Figure 6: Example multisystem cluster of 124 DGX-1 systems tuned for deep learning. DGX-1 Software Similar to the previous generation Pascal GP100 GPU, the GV100 GPU is composed of multiple Graphics Processing Clusters (GPCs), Texture Processing Clusters (TPCs), Streaming Multiprocessors (SMs), and memory controllers. A full GV100 GPU consists of six GPCs, 84 Volta SMs, 42 TPCs (each including two SMs), and eight 512-bit memory controllers (4096 bits total). Each SM has 64 FP32 Cores, 64 INT32 Cores, 32 FP64 Cores, and 8 new Tensor Cores. Each SM also includes four texture units. Figure 4: Volta GV100 Full GPU with 84 SM Units. Nvidia Tesla was the name of Nvidia's line of products targeted at stream processing or general-purpose graphics processing units (GPGPU), named after pioneering electrical engineer Nikola Tesla. Its products began using GPUs from the G80 series, and have continued to accompany the release of new chips. They are programmable using the CUDA or OpenCL APIs.

It is interesting to note that Figure 12 does not show execution of statement Z by all threads in the warp at the same time. This is because the scheduler must conservatively assume that Z may produce data required by other divergent branches of execution in which case it would be unsafe to automatically enforce reconvergence. In the common case where A, B, X, and Y do not consist of synchronizing operations, the scheduler can identify that it is safe for the warp to naturally reconverge on Z, as on prior architectures. Today at the 2017 GPU Technology Conference in San Jose, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang announced the new NVIDIA Tesla V100, the most advanced accelerator ever built.

Combining these strategies with your long-term business plan will bring results. However, there will be challenges on the way, where you need to adapt as per the requirements to make the most of it. At the same time, introducing new technologies like AI and ML can also solve such issues easily. To learn more about the use of AI and ML and how they are transforming businesses, keep referring to the blog section of E2E Networks. Any business is enlivened by its customers. Therefore, a strategy to constantly bring in new clients is an ongoing requirement. In this regard, having a proper customer acquisition strategy can be of great importance. So, if you are just starting your business, or planning to expand it, read on to learn more about this concept. HBM2 Memory: Faster, Higher EfficiencyVolta’s highly tuned 16GB HBM2 memory subsystem delivers 900 GB/sec peak memory bandwidth. The combination of both a new generation HBM2 memory from Samsung, and a new generation memory controller in Volta, provides 1.5x delivered memory bandwidth versus Pascal GP100 and greater than 95% memory bandwidth efficiency running many workloads. Tesla P100 delivered considerably higher performance for training neural networks compared to the prior generation NVIDIA Maxwell and Kepler architectures, but the complexity and size of neural networks have continued to grow. New networks that have thousands of layers and millions of neurons demand even higher performance and faster training times.

The Model S P100D with Ludicrous mode is the third fastest accelerating production car ever produced, with a 0-60 mph time of 2.5 * seconds. However, both the LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 Spyder were limited run, million dollar vehicles and cannot be bought new. While those cars are small two seaters with very little luggage space, the pure electric, all-wheel drive Model S P100D has four doors, seats up to 5 adults plus 2 children and has exceptional cargo capacity. Figure 8: DGX-1 deep learning training speedup using all 8 Tesla P100s of DGX-1 vs. 8-GPU Tesla M40 and Tesla P100 systems using PCI-e interconnect for the ResNet-50 and Resnet-152 deep neural network architecture on the popular CNTK (2.0 Beta5), TensorFlow (0.12-dev), and Torch (11-08-16) deep learning frameworks. Training used 32-bit floating point arithmetic and total batch size 512 for ResNet-50 and 128 for ResNet-152. Other software: NVIDIA DGX containers version 16.12, NCCL 1.6.1, CUDA 8.0.54, cuDNN 6.0.5, Ubuntu 14.04. NVIDIA Linux display driver 375.30. The 8x M40 and 8x P100 PCIe server is an SMC 4028GR with dual Intel Xeon E5-2698v4 CPUs and 256GB DDR4-2133 RAM (DGX-1 has 512GB DDR4-2133). At the 2016 GPU Technology Conference in San Jose, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang announced the new NVIDIA Tesla P100, the most advanced accelerator ever built. Based on the new NVIDIA Pascal GP100 GPU and powered by ground-breaking technologies, Tesla P100 delivers the highest absolute performance for HPC, technical computing, deep learning, and many computationally intensive datacenter workloads.
