A common misconception is that the color is due to the reflection of the sky, which is blue. There’s some truth in this due to water’s reflective qualities, but it’s not the only factor. A pool with emerald colored water is reflecting the exact same sky that a light blue pool does. Whether you are deliberately choosing a water color for your pool or external factors have affected it, there are many different colors for pool water. Deciding on the best water color for your swimming pool and being vigilant to prevent algae, metals, calcium, and other issues from changing your water color will make your pool appear as beautiful as you imagined. What sort of home is it? Modern, traditional? What is the condition of the pool build? Modern homes tend to lend themselves better to bold choices, such as greys, white etc, where the clean lines of the build are reflected by the swimming pool. If the home is more traditional, then a finish such as Persia Blue, Persia Sand or CERAMICS Atenea is more suitable. Pools that have a shallow end and a deep end will end up with a color gradient in their water.
