About this deal

Its layer and programming status lights are LEDs that are awkwardly placed under the caps lock and space bar. Even with the pads installed under the Vortex, you can see that the top of the keyboard barely exceeds the height of the Ducky’s first row of keys.

The format of the Vortex Race 3 is 75% features a full aluminum case bottom and anodized top plate, PBT Dye-Sub keycaps and Cherry MX switches.Even if the activation force requires a pressure of 45 cN, it will take a little more to activate the button because of the resistance located at this level. This also means they will last for a while, and nor will these develop a shine due to finger oils as easily as ABS plastic keycaps. The form factor is 75%, as mentioned before, meaning it is close to a TKL and offers nearly everything as a discrete option. The combination of keys Fn + R allows you to reset the key-codes if you have had fun creating your personal macros with full knowledge of the facts. Featuring an all-aluminium enclosure and high end PBT dye-sub DSA profile keycaps, this keyboard offers a very pleasant typing experience for all keyboard enthusiasts out there.

A green or red LED lights up under the right part of the Space key to indicate if your plan is in Colemak or Dvorak.

The good thing is that the DSA keycaps mean you can easily swap keycaps around to match these without worrying about sculpting or a keycap's top curvature. To be fair, there is not much that needs to be done with the base version, and a decent MCU with some integrated memory for the programming will suffice. The keyboard features PBT Dye-Sub printed keycaps, Cherry MX Switchesand a fullaluminium case bottom.

The possibility of using the keyboard in a local layout is a real plus, which is rare among very specialized manufacturers. At the back, the keyboard has an anodized aluminum box and a VortexGear plate with less jovial finishes, which really isn’t essential. causes some problems as far as I remember), and it should be in already running machine bottom right small USB devices menu, not in the properties of the VM. No regrets, I have the regular for work with a grey mx master 3 and RGB one for play with the Xtfy M4 Retro. I say DSA-like because that term is really for a different company (Signature Plastics) to use because they essentially created it with their keycap sets.

These were also the smoothest Cherry MX Blue switches I have tried in a while, especially with these being the RGB versions as well. The only two things I dislike about it are the micro USB cable it comes with (I prefer braided) and that there is no key cap puller included. However, you do get a full space bar, full set of modifier keys, the function key row, and arrow keys, all in a really small package. This is a result of the Race 3 being large enough to where it has all the functionality needed via discrete or single-shifted keys.
