There are several reasons why this, her third solo album, isn't quite as good (or great in parts) as the two that preceded it. First of all, Stevie's cocaine addiction is starting to take it's toll on her voice here. But that doesn't bother me that much, I must admit. Secondly, the quality of the songs is on average of a lesser quality than those on "Bella Donna" or "The Wild Heart."
