Use a good slightly curved steel spatula to spread the silicone on your scar and then smear the outer edges of the silicone to make it as thin as possible so it blends with the rest of your skin seamlessly. This may take a few practise. If you don't smear the edges thinly, it will dry with a harsh line around the scar with the rest of your skin. Don't rely on the plastic spatula that came with it, they are absolutely rubbish. I’ve now been using it for years and can’t imagine going without it. Takes no time at all to apply and is just part of my normal routine! COVERAGE: Dermaflage concealer is very concentrated. So, a little bit goes a long way and typically one layer is all it takes to cover a scar. Dermablend requires several layers to get the same coverage, with a less natural look. Keep one shade lighter and one shade darker if you are getting tan during the summer and are lighter in the winter.Apply Cover Crème directly onto the scar. With your finger, apply short tapping motions. Keep doing this until the flaw is completely covered. I find success when I wipe the area to be treated with rubbing alcohol first, than I apply Dermaflage. If I don’t do this step first, I find that the oils in my skin prevent a strong bonding to my skin. I do also use the primer occasionally.

Using Dermaflage will actually save me money,when I think of all the concealers I bought over the years. This product has changed my life!
