I did a little digging and found that this was, indeed, a common problem. People reported that their dinosaur did everything except walk. Every time the walk button was pushed, it turned itself off. With a turn of the Power Pad behind his tail the T-rex will start walking taking four steps forward with thrilling sound effects, a turn of the Power Pad behind his left hip will allow him to stand at his full height and also active the LED lights in his spikes and his eyes. They are frightening enough to be exciting, but not frightening enough to be upsetting, because we all know that dinosaurs dont exist anymore and cant actually hurt us . I searched online for a solution to this problem. I was hoping that I could find some sort of statement from Fisher Price, but I couldnt.

Several months after I originally wrote this post, I discovered that people were coming to it after searching for Imaginext T-Rex wont walk. If you have a dinosaur lover this is the toy for them. There are so many ways to play with the Imaginext Ultra T-Rex that your childs imaginations with really power up. With his ability to walk, make sounds, fire projectiles, and launch boulders this kind of the dinosaurs is sure to overpower any Jurassic enemy as well as all the toys in your dinosaur lovers collection. The age range listed is 36 months 8 years old, but I personally think a three year old might be a little too young for it. For one thing, it has a lot of small pieces, and for another, its so large that it might be hard for a child that young to manipulate . Another thing to consider is whether is how well your child can handle a toy that shoot projectiles would they be able to follow basic rules about when and where they are allowed to shoot them?
