About this deal

The MUVO Play features a built-in rechargeable battery, allowing users to enjoy their music on the go without the need for a power source. It also offers wireless connectivity, enabling easy pairing with compatible devices via Bluetooth. The sound quality is a satisfaction for me for a speaker in this class. It is small therefore it is portable. I can place it in my sling bag without it taking up much space. But it is big enough that you can take it out with you on a picnic outdoors. Other than that, you can pair it up with a tablet and use it to watch movies. Better yet, pair it up with another Creative Muvo Go for an immersive surround sound. This speaker delivers clear and balanced sound, creating an immersive listening experience. It is equipped with powerful drivers, ensuring accurate and detailed audio reproduction. As such it’s closer to a baby alternative to something like the Bose SoundLink Mini II or UE Wonderboom rather than just an upscaled laptop/tablet speaker. We’re also fairly impressed by how little the Creative Muvo 2C distorts at maximum volume. The downside is that the Creative Muvo 2C is far more complicated than just about any other speaker in this class. You have to learn how to use it, although after living with it for a while, we don’t think it’s too taxing.

To produce such sounds, the Creative Muvo Go is powered by a dual full-range Neodymium driver that delivers full-bodied, remarkable audio with powerful bass of up to 20W (40W peak), all made possible in combination with dual passive bass radiators. Even that sounded impressive to me. Like some of the other pretty decent portable Bluetooth speakers we tested, this unit sounds really great until you put it next to one of the top-end modelsfrom Pure, Denon, Speedlink or Edifier. In reality, it’s going to be fine for most of us,most of the time. For the way we use speakers, the USB functionality is the most useful. Just plug the Muvo 2 into your laptop using the charge cable and you can select the box as the sound output, as you might do with an external soundcard. So would I recommend this Creative Muvo Go Bluetooth speaker? Yes I would. Even my wife approves of it. She said that it was really easy for her to pair up with her phone and she is not that tech savvy. If she can do it, I’m sure it would be easy for anyone else too. Plus, it sounds good. Good enough that it is subtle, yet immersive. My personal opinion, it is my go to speaker when I’m relaxing in my mancave. The Creative Stage Air V2 is considered as a soundbar, so that is not within the same class as the Creative Muvo Go. That soundbar is attached to my SmartTV and it’s wonderful. And since it is affordable, you can also get a second Creative Muvo Go speaker to pair up with the first one to have a true stereo sound. Take note that the Creative Muvo Go is a directional speaker. Meaning wherever the main front speaker is pointing, that’s where the sound is going. So pairing up another Creative Muvo Go with each other will create better surround sound for your listening pleasure. Unfortunately I don’t have a second Creative Muvo Go speaker to test this one out. But I am told it sounds way better. Conclusion

The Creative Muvo Go weighs about 570g. It feels really solid when holding it in one hand. There are two speakers inside the speaker grille facing forward. And there are two more “bassy” speakers located on each side of the speaker body facing outward left and right. Together, they can produce symphonic sound that you can never expect from a Bluetooth speaker like this. Some other songs that I usually play are those by Alan Walker or any EDM type of songs. Sometimes you can also find some bass boosted songs on YouTube which I did try on this Creative Muvo Go speaker. It held up quite well. It is a good outdoor Bluetooth speaker that you can get at an affordable price. Additionally, this speaker is designed to withstand various environmental conditions. It is water and dust-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor use.

REVIEW – In my years of reviewing portable Bluetooth speakers, one of my all-time favorites is the Creative iRoar speaker. It’s becoming a cliché, but that little desktop monster sounds way bigger than its size. The iRoar is that rare Bluetooth speaker you can listen to all day without wishing you had something bigger or louder. It’s really good! But what if you just want a small speaker that can be used outdoors where it might be splashed with mud, dropped into a pool or just plain mistreated? Creative makes that too—the Creative MUVO Play portable and waterproof Bluetooth speaker for outdoors. Is the MUVO Play a mini iRoar or is it just a me-too speaker? What is it? This setup works a treat in all the best small bar-shape speakers, and does so again here. The Muvo 2 is alarmingly powerful and loud for its size, and at higher volumes the sound has much less a hard edge, and much more confidence, than the Muvo 2C. We’ve listened to it all day long near max volume, happily.Microsoft® Windows 10, Microsoft Windows 8.1 32-bit or 64-bit, Windows 8 32-bit or 64-bit, Windows 7 32-bit or 64- bit You could argue the Creative Muvo 2C tries to do a little too much for its own good. Sure enough, this isn’t the best choice for someone who struggles to get the basics of their phone working. However, for those with a bit of tech confidence this is one of the best tiny, low-cost speakers around. Having said that, the Creative Muvo Go is also waterproofed with IPX7 certification. This would be a perfect outdoor Bluetooth speaker to have around when you’re out camping or on a picnic by the river. The potability of the Creative Muvo Go is just perfect for me. The size is not too big and it is not too small either. You can place it on a flat surface horizontally or vertically, whichever way you prefer. Or you can always hang it somewhere, thanks to the detachable shoestring lanyard. The most forward-looking speakers have NFC (Near Field Communication) Bluetooth technology, which typically means that you can have the music player (phone, tablet or laptop) up to 10m away from the speaker.
