There are seven Pet Keeper fairies and they are: Katie the Kitten Fairy, Bella the Bunny Fairy, Georgia the Guinea Pig Fairy, Lauren the Puppy Fairy, Harriet the Hamster Fairy, Molly the Goldfish Fairy and Penny the Pony Fairy.

Yes. They're based on my best friends. Rachel and Kirsty are just like them: kind-hearted, adventurous, fun-loving and friendly. Daisies are my favourite flower, and Danielle is the good-hearted girl-next-door whom everybody loves. Rainspell Island isn't a real place. It's based on a little island off the south coast of England that I used to visit when I was a little girl. Kirsty and Rachel have their hands full with Bouncer the puppy. Perhaps he will help them find Lauren's magical missing pet. But can the girls keep the puppies out of the goblins' clutches?Access-restricted-item true Addeddate 2021-05-14 10:01:00 Associated-names Ripper, Georgie Boxid IA40111506 Camera USB PTP Class Camera Collection_set printdisabled External-identifier Lauren is loyal, fast, courageous, curious, brave and intelligent. She loves to play, mess around, and have fun. She goes outside often, but also relaxes at times. Although she's a little bit clumsy, she is excellent at defending herself. She easily protects the ones she loves, and when there's trouble, she's ready for it. At times, she can be a little impatient but usually likes hanging around with her friends and entertaining herself. Sitting in the garden in the sunshine listening to the birds singing! Writing also makes me very happy, and reading the lovely letters from my readers.

Daisy Meadows is the pseudonym used for the four writers of the Rainbow Magic children's series: Narinder Dhami, Sue Bentley, Linda Chapman, and Sue Mongredien. Rainbow Magic features differing groups of fairies as main characters, including the Jewel fairies, Weather fairies, Pet fairies, Petal fairies, and Sporty fairies. There are so many fab fairies, it's impossible to choose! But I have a soft spot for Summer the Holiday Fairy, because summer is my favourite time of year!

Narinder Dhami was born in Wolverhampton, England on November 15, 1958. She received a degree in English from Birmingham University in 1980. After having taught in primary and secondary schools for several years she began to write full-time. Dhami has published many retellings of popular Disney stories and wrote the Animal Stars and Babes series, the latter about young British girls of Asian origin. She lives in Cambridge, England with her husband and cats.

Bright red, the colour of courage and energy! Red is also the colour of Ruby in the Rainbow Fairies.Sue Bentley was born in Northampton, England. She worked in a library after completing her education and began writing for children once her own began school. Bentley is the author of the Magic Kitten, Magic Puppy, and S Club series and lives in Northamptonshire. In Fairyland, pets choose their owners - unlike in the human world, where it's the other way around. Annie comes looking for her father then, and notices Bouncer right away. The puppy greets her happily, and Rachel offers to let Annie hold the leash. Soon she and the puppy are playing with Annie’s shoelace, and Kirsty notices a sparkling in the air around the two. Annie’s father reappears and asks who the puppy belongs to, and Rachel explains he’s up for adoption. Annie is excited, and her father says they can talk to Mr. Gregory once the bouncy castle is put away. Lauren thanks the girls and tells them to say goodbye to “Barney” as she and Sunny return to Fairyland. The girls are momentarily confused until they overhear that Annie will be keeping the puppy and Barney is Bouncer’s new name.
