About this deal

The opening is SOOO sharp boozy, it almost hurt my nose and gave me A real headache to the point where i leave it on my shelf untouched for quite a long time.

I don't follow the brand, or wear the fashions, and I'm forty years away from being a teenage mall-rat. The only downside is that I can only smell them on myself from around 8 in the morning until 3-4 in the afternoon. I love the tattoo design style of Ed Hardy stuff and for some reason thought that the scents would be more exciting. And it goes great with my own natural scent, I get tons of compliments wearing this, not as many as GIT or Rhythm, but top 10 easily for me , of the 20 some I own, not over all.

Notes: Blood orange, violet leaf, apple, mango, apple blossoms, pink jasmine, cashmere musk, amber, benzoin and blond woods. this scent is pretty tart at first and then it gets creamy and you can really smell the mango and apple. In its beautifully crafted container, Energetic Mango Waves, juicy Apple blends and pink Jasmine meet the background notes of luscious Cashmere Musk, Warm Benzoin and Amber that leaves its unforgettable memory wherever it goes.I was expecting more of a composition similar to Eternity and the listing above surprises me - especially the pear and melon.

It's salt/sweet dichotomy incidentally give it a modern sweaty sports vibe, adding some versatility, but there's nothing remotely refined or classy about it. Contrary to the intimidating bottle design, Hearts and Daggers is quite wearable, sweet, fruity and alluring. It's definitely marketed towards teens and twenty-something's but is by no means too young for mature women. The fruits are strong and sharp, further ruined by the clashing of earthy patchouli and sneeze-worthy pepper. This is also one of the only ones I've purchased lately that has garnered a spontaneous complement from my husband, and that's something unusual.

The base is the synthetic approximation of suede, sandalwood, musk, patchouli, and more exotica in the form of katsura wood. The next day I found the strip sitting in my car (I must have blacked out) I had to kick it out the door because I was afraid to touch it. I don't know if I'll be able to wear this though, green apple notes make me sick to my stomach so Im not sure about the red one yet. I received a sample of this perfume and couldn't stop smelling my wrists, I HAD to have it and now I actually have 2 huge bottles. Reminds me of a mango version of Miami Glo without the prominence of the musk note (don't get me wrong, the musk is there).

And I love finding fragrances that are cheapie but goodies but unfortunately this is not 1 of those fragrances. The salt note coming from olive rather than oceanic brine is rather novel, but it mixes strangely with the pear note, confusing my pallette into thinking is this person a salty cocktail fan, or a fruity drink aficionado? When you first spray it it smells nice and clean, but after it dries on the skin or atleast MY skin it smells HORRIBLE.The main gist of Hearts and Daggers for Men is fusing an aquatic with common cocktail accords, maybe to make it club-friendly, but ultimately to make it really loud compared to others in it's class. In the opening it is a very soapy scent, but as it sits this begins to fade as the pear becomes more appearent. It brings together the unrelenting force of attractiveness and tempting fragrances of love, Romance and Glamour. My signature scent - other reviews slate it for being 'too young' or 'too fruity' but I find this is just sweet enough without being overdone.
