There is no opening or closing credits in this episode, which is a first for the Rainbow High animated series. After the release of Laurel De'Vious and Holly De'Vious, the franchise have released multiple new and modified head sculpts. Rainbow High was designed by Michael Anderson. It first launched in late July 2020, and at the time were only at Target. They are now available in other stores. The first release was of the 6 main characters, making up Series 1. This release set the standard of having 6 characters being introduced in a series, with any additional ones being either parts of playsets like Amaya Raine and Avery Styles in Series 1, or special edition like Kia Hart. Similar to its sister brand LOL Surprise, Rainbow High's dolls and accessories are manufactured in China.The first ever themed/budget dolls released only 5 months after the debut of the doll line with the Cheerleader Squad dolls, which featured the main 6 characters in cheerleading uniforms. Rainbow Junior High Special Edition
This special is shorter than the usual episodes, being only 4 minutes and 30 seconds. It is about the length of a Season 1 episode. Price point: Big brand toys are manufactured with the knowledge there has to be something available for every wallet. Price points are set store prices (with a small range each) which serve as a guiding point for the manufacturer in deciding how to finance the design a particular new toy. Lower price points correspond to "budget" toys and, high price points to "deluxe" toys, but are more specific as to how budget or deluxe a certain toy is. Rainbow High so far only has two body types, which are female and male. The female dolls all share the same body molds. All dolls so far are 24 cm, making them the same height as shorter Monster High dolls. The bodies are made of high quality, hard plastic and the doll's hair is made out of nylon. The dolls are fully articulated, female ones has 11 points of articulation: at the head, arms, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. The boys have 13 points, with all of the female points of articulation plus articulation at the ankles. GORGEOUS FEATURES: Demi Batista is dressed in PURPLE from head to toe.
