About this deal

This box includes a host of Plague Marines and Deathshroud Bodyguard, accompanied by daemon-touched war machines – three Myphitic Blight-haulers and a Plagueburst Crawler – all able to withstand a huge amount of punishment before crashing into the enemy lines in an inexorable wave of stench and decay. Magnus the Red is the 41st Millenium’s premiere big scarlet-skinned chap, at least until his very angry brother turns up. Joining him are 23 of his sons – 20 dusty Rubric Marines and three Exalted Sorcerers living their best arcane life. Battleforce: Death Guard – Council of The Death Lord All six of these battleforces are coming this December, so stay tuned to Warhammer Community for more details. “ Warhammer Community Some pretty great boxes overall, and if these rumors are true, each army is going to get a decent number of savings. Orks are looking to come out on top, but the Nids box and the Space Marines box will be getting a ton of new minis in their boxes.

A favourite treat of the Adepta Sororitas, when they aren’t praying, purging, training, or praying. Forge World is returning to Necromunda with some new and highly detailed resin kits, starting with Athera, Blade of the Matriarch . Escher gangs can petition her for help in slicing up enemy gangers with her master-crafted chainaxe. Athera is accompanied into battle by her grumpy Caryatid, Stix, who has the prescience to help them both avoid harm. Necromunda: Escher Shivver and Apprentice Clan Chymist Personally I was looking for exactly this combination of stuff, for various reasons that include being stupid enough to own not one but two Marine armies and this neatly covering things I needed for both, but if you don’t have the particular brainworms I do then you might find some of this box a bit extraneous. If you’re newer to Marines and don’t already have an Impulsor or many Phobos guys (who legitimately are great in 9th edition) then this is still potentially a good buy, and Invictors aren’t horrible in-game and are fun kits so if you’re not looking to be hyper-competitive they’re a cool toy and will do just fine on the table. Necrons – Eradication Legion Supplies from Mars are slightly delayed for those of you in Canada and the US, where the Omnissiah’s Talon box will drop early next year. Adepta Sororitas Battleforce: Purgatos MissionFor just a morsel of Gotrek action from the World-that-Was, Orcslayer by Nathan Long provides just that. After 20 years of exploring strange new lands, Gotrek and Felix return to the Old World, and an ancient path leads the pair to a dwarf prince who wants to reclaim his kingdom from hordes of Greenskins. A more traditional Necron feel, this army brings as many guns as it can. You can fill out your core with Necron Warriors with a mix of weapons–Gauss Reapers on Necron Warriors are a great weapon, and this dynasty’s trait helps by enhancing its range by 25%. It’s a valid tactic just about anywhere, but Mephrit makes it especially dangerous: a character with the Veil of Darkness can jump itself and 20 Reaper Warriors into position and light up most targets, boosted by stratagems to increase wounds (via Disintegration Capacitors) and/or inflict mortal wounds (via Talent for Annihilation) if need be. The increased range means units that deny “deep strike” mechanics within 12″ won’t stop you. Another option is Tomb Blades, which offer tough mobile shooting and can also be great objective grabbers/harassers, especially since they don’t crumble to dust like Scarabs tend to. This clutch of Knights is a perfectly sized army project – it’s just a handful of miniatures, after all… The Chainbreaker Lance contains four Armiger-class knights led by Canis Rex , a legendary steed piloted by the equally epic Sir Hekhtur. For those of a less Freeblade persuasion, Canis Rex can also be constructed as any Questoris-class Knight. Battleforce: Thousand Sons – Court of The Crimson King Whenever Space Marines go to war, they strike hard and fast, and the Shieldbreaker Strike Force is set up to do just that. With enough Troops to hold down objectives, an elite cadre of veterans can focus on bringing down their toughest foes in bloody close combat.

One of the newer armies to come out, the Lumineth set is a great way to expand a force. unfortunately however many of these models don;t have much in the way of customisation options. The fierce eyes of a Sister Dogmata command this force, which is composed of five Celestian Sacresants, 10 Battle Sisters, an Immolator armed transport, and a mighty Exorcist tank. The Warhammer Vault is also getting spooky as the lore from Malign Portents is conjured into digital format, alongside White Dwarf 467, from August this year which goes deep on the design of Dominion, as well as rules for frostbitten battles between Hive Fleet Leviathan and the Dark Krakens in Flashpoint Octarius. It’s hard enough to be stealthy when you’re a nine-foot tall super soldier, but how about the challenge of going covert with not one but two Invictor Tactical Warsuits? If anyone would know how to pull that off, it’s Raven Guard Chapter Master Kayvaan Shrike, who also leads a squad of Reivers, a trio of Eliminators, and a Phobos-armoured Librarian for a total of 17 miniatures ready for an ambush. Adeptus Mechanicus – TechnoarcheologistOrks know what they like, and they like fighting. Anything that makes them faster, shootier, or choppier is fair game, and the Killdakka Warband is made up of all sorts of Boyz armed with whatever they can find to krump their foes with.

If you like eccentric mechanical limbs, gosh does the Adeptus Mechanicus have a treat for you with not one or two, but 15 weird and wonderful modes of ambulation or flight! There’s also a unit of Skitarii and a powerful Tech-priest to lead this gaggle of whirring, clunking, zapping warriors. Ten great Battleforce bundles are coming for the holidays (11 if you include the Adeptus Titanicus Battlegroup) that will be headed our way for Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar, and hobby enthusiasts alike! Each miniature comes supplied with an appropriate base. They are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints. The main event next week is Battleforces, massive boxes containing a wealth of units for a faction. They’re the ideal place to start a new army for the new year , or to expand an existing force. There are 10 boxes (count ‘em) split between Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. First up, everyone’s favourite grim future gets six boxes. While those of you in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand can start collecting your bone tithe right now, this box will be dropping a little later for the rest of the world. At the end of the day, regardless of how you get ahold of them there’s a number of good units you’ll probably want to have on-hand for whatever army you eventually want to buy. The following is stuff that builds out to a decent core that almost any army can use effectively: This box has a lot of leftovers (sort of) from the Leviathan box, but if you want a Norn Emissary and a Winged Hive Tyrant, this will probably save you a bunch of money.
