Funko has now expanded into more than 1,000 licensed properties from all over the entertainment universe covering everything from The Avengers to Dragon Ball Z. According to Funko’s VP of licensing and business development, Dolly Ahluwalia, ‘Evergreen and classic’ properties like Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Disney make up nearly half of all Funko Pop sales. Here we see Max Mayfield with her Walkman ready to blast out Kate Bush’s “Running up that Hill” to protect her for Vecna. The Spider-Man spin-off sees Jared Leto play Dr Michael Morbius, who, in a search for a cure for his rare blood disease, turns himself into a living vampire with a relentless urge for blood. Unfortunately, it's a decision that doesn't just affect him, but also those closest to him like his lifelong friend Milo ( Matt Smith) and his partner Martine Bancroft (Adria Arjona). Both of them meet dark fates in the ending, so let's dig into what exactly happened. She is a skilled skateboarder and a bit of a tom boy moreover her introduction to the series gave a new dynamic to the group as they navigate through the strange and dangerous events that occur in their town.
The hugely ambitious (and very expensive) show is set to star the likes of Sir Lenny Henry, Morfydd Clark, Markella Kavenagh, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Joseph Mawle, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Trystan Gravelle and Maxim Baldry. Otherwise, Morbius is fairly self-contained and separated from the likes of Venom and Spider-Man... for now. With Martine's help, Morbius starts to work on a way to stop Milo which he also plans to use on himself. The artificial blood he had been using to keep the cure working is getting less effective and if he doesn't kill himself too, Morbius will soon be at a stage when he won't be able to resist the urge for real blood. Funko Pop have helped revolutionise collectibles. The world of collecting used to be limited – there were toys for kids but not much else with deeper substance. Funko Pop reimagined what fandoms would want, creating highly stylised, sleek, and quirky vinyl figures. Everyone’s feeling the Funko – with collectible vinyl figures available in every franchise from Harry Potter to Star Wars, The Golden Girls to Britney Spears.Milo comes to visit him in prison and leaves him some blood behind to give Morbius the strength to escape. Morbius initially refuses, but when he works out what Milo did and what he could do, he breaks out and confronts Milo in a subway station. The first movie didn't slavishly follow the comics, so a sequel will likely follow its own path for Martine. Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Arjona said that she knew her character's fate in this movie, but doesn't know what happens next. Max plays a crucial role in the show’s storyline and (particularly in season 4) and becomes a beloved member of the Hawkins community and we look forward to more Funko Pop! Max figures being released very soon. Max is a student at Hawkins Middle School and becomes friends with the main characters, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Eleven. We could also see more from him (Michael Keaton) after he pops up in the credit scenes to tease the Sinister Six, but you can read more about that here.
