I spent quite sometime to design at least a couple of projects that the children could make on their own which would be easy enough, engaging for a child, and have an end result that would look at least semi-reminiscent of an actual car or a crane. I could not be creative much, because every time I tried to put something together, I was limited by how the parts of the set were designed. Overall, I think the set is not well-thought through, definitely not from the standpoint of an actual building set. If you just want more items littering your house (very nice looking items!), this set is for you. Your child will have no idea what to do with it besides screwing those cubes and a couple of boards together with the wooden bolts a couple of times.
